  1. Pretty cool. I'd like to see the hands lag abit more though......ie bend down when moving forward. And, at times, the hands don't seem to be in sync with the legs but I'm not a fighting expert.
  2. Nice model. The song is suitably naff for that market. From your description, I imagined the little robot aquiring "upgrades" to try to impress his girl. Bigger muscles for his arms, an a** etc. You might be inspired by this guys work: http://www.rustboy.com/rustweb.htm
  3. Welcome to the community! There is a way to search member location on the forum here, but I can't find it now.
  4. I was talking about: The Face Machine
  5. Okaaay. That sounds interesting.
  6. I'm really interested in Anzovins other plugin being made available for AM. Maybe you could work your magic on that one Robert! But I think that is beyond your powers after looking at their website.
  7. Nice looking blade. You like your weapons!
  8. Very generous indeed. Thanks Anzovins.
  9. It could be something to do with the other apps on your system....or your clock. I don't know really.
  10. It sounds like the app has somehow "timed out". If you contact someone at hash (try steve at hash dot com) I'm sure they can rectify it.
  11. You really can't beat looking at existing model spline flow. But you should probably turn on the bias handles (if you haven't already) so you can see which way the splines are flowing easier. And pressing the PageUp key once will give you a better visual representation as to what's going on in shaded mode. Also, there's lots of great help in the past: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...;hl=spline+flow Here's a quick explanation of some of the things not to do with splines. I think there's more but I can't recall them right now. I remember a mistake I made was when joining patches, I didn't break the splines....I just joined the side of each of the patches and expected the splines to merge into each other.
  12. I think one reason it's there is for screen real estate functionality. If you have the timeline beside the PWS open, then you don't have much room for the window to animate in. Having a separate timeline allows you to open the PWS at the side and the timeline window at the bottom.
  13. Damn....I keep missing good threads. Nice model! And nice bike too. Is it efficient on petrol/gas? Might get one.
  14. I volunteer Vern. I don't think I've little experience with images on lights.
  15. It should work. But I have v15. I have to right click on the AM program icon and turn off Desktop composition in the compatibility tab. That's because it causes a strange effect when bound selecting.
  16. Look in the shadow options of the light. They might have to be set to raytrace. Also, if you want a beam of light, you may have to turn on the volumetrics. A screenshot of what you are getting would help.
  17. Lets' see a screen shot of your render setting options and we may have a hope of telling you. And are you rendering the same thing as in the demo?
  18. Don't worry Masna. It's a common mistake. Oh for a big bright highlighted icon on these things.
  19. No. The software is the same. The only difference is a few extra models/chors/actions which are included on the disc. But these are available for download anyway. Go with the subscription model unless you need to use AM on two machines.
  20. -Try pressing the PageUp key on the keyboard. Or select the cps and press the O (not zero) key. -That's happened to me before sometimes. But it usually clears when the project is re-opened.
  21. Nice walk. I think just speeding it up will add abit more life to it. Toes need some movement and probable chest and head too.
  22. Perhaps. But when you're a pirate pillaging someone elses ship, being able to see in the dark as soon as you enter it may have greater advantages. I guess it's up to the pirate.
  23. Heh. Should be fun. But the theory goes that pirates didn't wear patches because they were blind. It allowed them to go into dark spaces (ships?) and quickly adjust to the lighting by taking off their patch. Mythbusters is fun too.
