  1. High five! That worked great! Thanks a whoooole bunch . Now on to the rest of him. (whew! glad that's over with!).
  2. Wow man. You rock. Thanks a whole lot. I'm not gonna ask for the project file though (unless I get completely frustrated ), but I think I'll just try to learn from your awesome example. Thanks a whole lot! I'm gonna try modeling it like that and see how I do. Thanks again! Robert Lazzarini
  3. Ha! I liked it. The cop shaking his head at the end was hilarious. Good Job! I like the character too. His motions looked pretty good. Great work! -Robert Lazzarini
  4. Whew! Thanks goodness that took care of itself. Bugs in a software bring frustration and frustration is definately not a fun thing. Nope. Anyway, on a brighter side, Those expressions you made with him are cool! Also, It looks like the rigging thing came out well and everything; what do you have planned for him? It'd be great to see him moving around the place. -Robert Lazzarini
  5. Andrew- Porcelain isn't on the regular materials list that's viewable in the program is it? Do you know where I could find it? David- I'll try that out. But, would that end up distorting that area when its animated? I'll post a close up wireframe of the mouth. when I get back to my computer that has A:M on it. have there been any other models that people have done with a mouth on a sphere? I find it helpful to look at ways other people have modeled so I can get a better feel for it ya know? Thanks again! -Robert
  6. Alright, so here's what I did, I changed that crazy monster spline thing and did a 16 ring sphere and modeled the mouth the same way I did for the crazy splinage one. And this is what I kept getting before. I know I'm going at it wrong. Thanks so far for the replies, I did try deleting spline rings and stuff, but it didn't quite keep its shape and reverted back to this. I think the way I'm trying to madel the mouth is flawed. Thanks again and replies are always appreciated! Robert Lazzarini
  7. That guy is awesome! He's turning out great. I can already tell he's got a great personality and everything. Great job, keep it up! Robert Lazzarini
  8. So I've been trying to make this super hero I made up. But, I'm having a bit of trouble. His head is a sphere And he doesn't have a neck, so I'm having trouble getting a mouth to look right. I finally did, but I'm sure there's a better way. What I've got right now has way too many splines. So, help would be definately appreciated. I'll post a sketch of him and the spline heavy model I've got at the moment. Thanks! Robert Lazzarini
  9. yea man I'm liking that new sub. But are you going for a sci-fi look in the picture? I don't know if that one would fit in as well as the one you have with the tower. You've got like a high tech-ish look so far with the tower and the current sub. I don't know if that new sub will match as well with the tower you've got though. Just a thought. It's looking great though. Whatever you end up doing I'm sure it'll come out good.
  10. That's awesome man! Great job! When did you make that? I know I've seen it, but i thought it was a while ago. First off Nickelodian... next... The World! ok ok maybe not the world, but something big!
  11. Do you remember those Kapsules that John Henderson made a while back? They had a similar shape to your marshmallow where the mouth is. You might want to check it out here: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showt...=capsules&st=15 There's a wireframe render there that might help you out- robert
  12. Obvious, what's obvious? I don't get it. What supposed to be so obvious about tha- oooooooh. Yup. That's pretty obvious. Incredibly obvious one might say. hehe, yup. I'm a little slow today soo... anyways, Have you checked out colin freeman's tutrorial with hair. It's worked wonders for him and his Robin model. Hope that helps!
  13. I definately like it! It looks great! But what to do next huh? Hmm... (thinking )...(two hours later)... A-Hah! How about putting an exterior wall around what you've got? And make it almost as if it were built out of the mountain itself? That might give it the look your going for. Hope that helps!
  14. That's great! I wonder what's got him so spooked.
  15. That's pretty good. The only thing I think it might need is a flip while its pluttering down. But other than that, the wa it slows as it hits the ground and everything is great! good job
  16. There was a post back in September and it got a look that you might like. It gets a similar effect to what I think you're going for. Hope it helps! It was here: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8502
  17. har har har . No really, great stuff! That's a shame though that it didn't turn out right. You could make your own project however. That could be fun. By the way, what is your website? It would be great to look at more of your work.
  18. That is incredible. Its exactly like the drawing, not like a little bit, but EXACTLY the same! Good job!
  19. That's looking good! I especially like the way the light comes out from the top light.
  20. Those are cool! I can tell you had fun making that project. Especially with Noah's rap. Good job!
  21. Actually, the pupils are modeled and barely in front of the white part of the eye, giving me complete control over what they do. Actually everything there is modeled as a seperate obsect. The teeth is one, the black of the mouth two, and so on... Depth wasn't really what I was trying to go for though. Kinda like the southpark effect. not a whole lot of depth. Thanks for the comment though! I most certainly do appreciate it!
  22. Yea, so I was playing around on A:M and I made a 2d character. Just thought it ould be neat to share, and I think someone started a post on wanting to do something like this?
  23. You're only 14? Wohoo! I'm not the only one on the forum still in highschool! How do you find the time to do so much animating and do school at the same time? I find myself so bogged down with homework that there's hardly enough time to animate.
  24. If it was me, I'd probably go with a series. That way, it feels like its a more productive project. Otherwise you may (hopefully not) lose interest in it. And its fun to have people wondering what will happen next time, you know?
