  1. Mark --your models are awesome indeed. I would say you should have no fear of buildings----at least it does not show if there was any . You are on a roll man keep it going.
  2. Mark---that slight adjustment worked really well---nice image indeed.
  3. Mark, I liked both images. The second one if I may make a suggestion. It would seem her hair and horses mane is blowing a little too strong considering the apparent gait of the horse. Now one frame shots of even horses at full gallop can catch them in some remarkable poses as it were but the normally for a horse to have its tail blowing and the riders hair blowing from the wind of the gallop their legs will either be very extended outwards or pretty tucked together underneath and curled as they gallop. but that's maybe just me.....I see a lot of horses where I am from - and they are very beautiful creatures indeed --so that's why I liked the image too.
  4. Terry-------really looking awesome.
  5. Sometimes just going through threads like this make you learn so much on things you never knew .
  6. First Off ---Welcome. Hope you are enjoying checking out AM and the forum here. I have to say it may be one of the best 3d forums going. Almost every question posted here gets answered within one day for sure and most within hours. And more importantly -----folks are happy to help and share their knowledge . No matter how new you are or your own expertise. Beginers are always welcome. So have fun here. Don't be shy either ---register up and join the party. Post some questions, models, or pics whatever. We all would love to get to see some new names enjoying AM.
  7. Now that was pretty impressive.
  8. ah 20,000 leagues under an AM sea......nice model Ben -- looking really nice so far. keep it coming.....AM needs a good sea story.
  9. David----nice one. Looks very nice indeed. So Sintel AM style would be pretty fantastic. Smiles.
  10. Nice beginnings Rodney------ venture forward step by step as you can.
  11. In 3d animation --render spreed is so crucial. Taking each frame and multiplying the savings per frame over a 4 minute short is one thing. But factor in the amount of renders never used but needed to be done and you can see how amazing that kind of speed bump that Simon indicates would make you very happy to acheive. Kudos to Steffen !!!
  12. Steve--- I think for sss critique might be more helpful to get a close-up or at least closer as from this distance it looks good but I even look good from that distance. Smiles.
  13. Will, It is just a delay not a derailment . I could only wish for a nickle for every plan that did not pan out in the first try.
  14. Mark --very nice hair indeed. Have to say it looks very natural --so kudos. You obviously are making the most of your scarce free time.
  15. Indeed a sassy model, Steve. Now you are trying to walk with high heels (So degree of difficulty is 1.5) but most of what is started there looks pretty good. It does seem the last step with the left leg is crossing over a tad much towards the right leg but it might be just the angle.
  16. Mark--that is an awesome model and an awesome gift to the community. Very nice indeed. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Lloyd ---I think you may be on to something.....................
  18. Sorry Dan-----I am not getting it yet either. But heck --who does not like suspense.
  19. I would enjoy a ride on either version. Awesome work in both cases Rodger . now if you twist my arm and make me pick ----yep 2013 looks better. But if they were not side to side ----independently I would have said ---wow --nice job.
  20. Very nice sebastian---cute and lovable characters
  21. Ah......well you know we sometimes get fooled by amazing work. Smiles . But not the first time was fooled.
  22. sebastian-- well done. Fine work indeed.
  23. Marcos -----you take AM to places few folks have visited. Awesome stuff man. Amazing realism. Off the charts!!! All I can say is ----WOW.
  24. good luck Lloyd---- one quick thing ---that first image you have there right now is a tad dark. (at least on my setup). You might lighten it a tad.
  25. Douglas, Good first attempt to follow barry's videos----I cannot be much coach as my modeling skills are still pretty poor but something to keep in mind are just some simple lines ---like for instance our shoulders and arms are rather smooth transition --so one simple improvement is to level off the difference from the shoulder to arm making it more a straightline. But like I said I am not one to cast any judgements -----and bravo for posting your efforts ---a lot more courage than I have had. So kudos and keep going.
