Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 4, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted October 4, 2010 I like that Matt. I'm not a boob guy myself. Quote
John Bigboote Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 I'm not a 'boob-guy' either... Nancy just thinks I am because I like to look at, model, animate, and spend insubordinate hours just thinking about... oh- maybe I am! Quote
John Bigboote Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 reworked the mouth...eyebrows...nostrils... added a tongue... Quote
NancyGormezano Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 looks terrific - just love the simplicity. Will you eventually be putting mouth in neutral closed pose for easier animation posing? Quote
John Bigboote Posted October 4, 2010 Author Posted October 4, 2010 Will you eventually be putting mouth in neutral closed pose for easier animation posing? You know it! It would be great to do some AMTrack-ing with him. Quote

TheSpleen Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 Nice model. LOL, he looks like he died and is standing infront of the Pearly Gates. Same thought I had......and he seems disappointed. LOL Quote
HomeSlice Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Please let us know how you rig those sleeves, when you get to it. Those look tricky. Quote
NancyGormezano Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Love him! Maybe the sleeve ends can be rigged with dynamic constraint somehow for just a slight suggestion of cloth? Quote
John Bigboote Posted October 7, 2010 Author Posted October 7, 2010 Getting there, tomorrow...FEET! You guys are funny with your 'Pearly Gates' comments... I've been learning a song on guitar with these lyrics: Last night I dreamed I made it to the promised land, I was standin at the gate- had the key in my hand. St Peter said 'come in boy- your finally home'. I said, 'No thanks, Pete- I'll just be travellin on!' -------------------------------------------------------------------- Maybe it's 'kismet'. Steve Earle, "I aint Never Satisfied" 3rd verse. WARNING: Sappy 1980's music! Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted October 7, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted October 7, 2010 That's looking like a Pixar-quality character. Quote

John Bigboote Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 I took a week away last week... but came back and did a little more weighting on this guy... next, I want to rework the mouth, I think. This is a loop. CartoonHeadHatTrick.mov Quote
TheSpleen Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Perfection! Looks really really good! Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted November 2, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted November 2, 2010 That's looking real good. Is that the new FakeAO on him? next, I want to rework the mouth, I think. I think his lips may be too thin. Quote
John Bigboote Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 Thanks guys! I took Rob's advice and tried the new FakeAO on my dude... also reworked his mouth a bit. I am in awe of what the FakeAO did for the look... defined the edges... gave a great albeit 'fake' AO look to him in NO TIME at all... yesterday I used real AO in V16/64 and took 1.5 mins per frame... this is 16/32 at 6 sec (2 sec per pass) which is zippity-doo-dah-FAST! You can REALLY see the FakeAO effect around his eyes and nose... it pops them right out! Here's the link to it in the FakeAO forum: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?act=a...st&id=53090 Quote
largento Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 That looks great, Matt! Great movement and character! Quote
