  1. It must be my special Aero glasses. Do you have "Disable Desktop Composition" checked in your Compatibilities tab inthe Properties for the A:M icon?
  2. To try... on your Options>Global tab... disable "Don't disable Aero on startup" That's a triple negative!
  3. I like that. They're not "gunsights", they're "snowflakes".
  4. Did you on the slider name and choose "delete"?
  5. Works for me. Wonder why the reflectivity aspect missed the 'bake-boat'. Steffen has looked at it in the past, for some reason transparency couldn't get in.

v15j+ is current. v16 is "in beta" The interface will look very familiar to a v11 user. Many feature and stability enhancements have arrived since v11. v16 is about twice as fast as v15. Your v11 models should travel to v15 and v16 fine. Do not expect to take v15 or v16 models back to v11. The features of boxed and sub are identical. Sub doesn't require a CD in the drive to start A:M but is locked to the computer you install it on. Boxed lets you take the CD to any computer to run A:M Welcome back to A:M!
  7. Suppose I made a checkerboard material with half the squares very reflective and half zero reflective. But Bake can't capture that. Change the material to make the reflective squares white and the non-reflective squares black. Bake that then change the map that gets created from "Color" to "Reflectivity".
  8. let's see... Bake does color, specular intensity, specular size, ambience intensity, bump, and transparency. It doesn't do other things like reflectivity, but those can had by making a grayscale color material in place of it, baking that and then changing it to whatever to was supposed to be.
  9. I don't think it can bake those on since those depend on a "reflection" off the surface for their effect
  10. Most material parameters (color, transparency, ambience, reflectivity...) can be converted into a bitmap with the same appearance on a model with the "Bake Surface" command.
  11. He's coming along there! The hands look odd to me but I can't see much of them.
  12. I can just barely detect the hair on him, there probably is some way to light that to bring it our more, but I'm not sure. I like character!
  13. That's real AO. The factory settings in the official PRJ.
  14. A small tunic or toga might be a propo, rather than full naked.
  15. Right-Click on the icon for A:M and choose"Properties". Then go to the "Compatibility" tab
  16. The ground is a model like Keekat is. That's why it is in the render. You can see it has a listing in the Choreography, like Keekat does.. Delete it from the chor or set its "active" property to OFF in its properties window. The sky is not a model, it's not even a sky, it's really just a default color the camera puts there when nothing else is in the picture.
  17. And while you are making the second one, don't touch the pose slider for the first one or make any setting on it, or that will become part of the second pose.
  18. Yes. If these are the toe controls you mentioned earlier, the right and left foot need each their own pose.
  19. I like the foggy shots best for their painterly look. I wonder if there's some way to light the interior shot so it keeps that same mood.
  20. Yup there's whole world on the right side of the PWS. Normally I have the PWS detached from the main A:M window and it occupies my entire second monitor. But i can't screen capture it there.
  21. The "All" tab? That should be at the top of the Project WorkSpace window. The "Timeline" window (ALT-2 to toggle it on and off) doesn't have those tabs.
  22. I don't see a lot of twisting there. Is it visible from some other angle?
