  1. the calibration problem sounds odd
  2. If you want to zip up the whole thing and send it to me in a PM I'll take a look at it.
  3. My point is that if there is a problem, it's not because of incompetence or failure to notice that a new OS revision was coming out nor is it a sign of disinterest in Mac users, it's the result of what is possible to do so far with the available resources. Microsoft and Apple both have enormous R&D and testing resources and yet they still put out software with showstopping problems. A:M doesn't have those resources and yet still works pretty well. Stay calm for at least a little while.
  4. Steffen has been doing a wonderful job keeping A:M going in the face of many OS and hardware changes over the past five years or so and has managed to enable great performance improvements in both the Windows and Mac versions.
  5. The model's poses can be set in the model but overridden in the chor or action. Have you check all those possibilities?
  6. Is the sensitivity in the pen or the surface? Is the pen just a solid stick or is it a device like a wacom pen? IS it a wacom pen with wacom drivers?
  7. Does the Surface have pressure sensitivity for the pen?
  8. In windows you can set a program to run with "Compatibility settings" for previous Windows versions. Does Mac have any sort of accommodation like that?
  9. Haven't tried but i presume the customary caveats about non-NVidia/non-AMD graphics will apply.
  10. You'll need to check that the IK leg switch is not being overridden by a key in the regualr chor action.
  11. Have any early adopters of the latest Mac OS version had any new issues with A:M on it? Edit: See Post #71 for patch pending new installers.
  12. I'd have to see you using it. There are lots of way s to use an action wrong. My first guess is that this is a Play Range problem.
  13. Best birthday wishes to you!
  14. For AVI, choose "fullframes (uncompressed)" Also try a TGA or JPG image sequence.
  15. You can set that in the Option>Units tab cm is recommended, however, as most plugins only display/accept units in cm
  16. I find you can get the screen to redraw if you slightly drag the edge of the viewport. That will leave the selected objects selected.
  17. Maybe that's a mac problem? On my PC they are within a pixel of being centered.
  18. The markers show in all views for me in v17. Are you still in v15? I dimly recall that may have been a bug. One odd thing i notice is that pressing 1 on the keypad doesn't return me to the camera view. Another is that the units don't appear on the rulers. But the markers do show up.
  19. If all bones are pointing the same way (for example, all to the right) then they will rotate the same way.
  20. Yup, I made that candle several times.
  21. Can you delete all the models from that chor, then save the chor under a new name and post it?
  22. What sort of a mic are you using to record your voice?
  23. Good looking toon render! Good truck too.
  24. If you watched Saturday Morning cartoons as i did you certainly saw Filmation's work, including Fat Albert, Archie and Star Trek. Filmation was one of about three significant producers of animation for Saturday morning TV in the US in the 60's, 70's and 80's but the only one that was able keep the production in-house and not outsource it. Lou Scheimer somehow made that work. http://www.newsfromme.com/2013/10/20/lou-scheimer-r-p/
  25. There is a head tutorial in The Art of Animation:Master booklet but it's over complex for what you want to do here. My basic strategy is to start with the obvious features first. make the mouth make the nose make the eye sockets then add the splines that connect between them.
