  1. I've been discussing this WIP with a friend of mine and these are the points that have been raised: What are the dynamics if: - the bucket is tipped over just a little bit - the bucket is tipped right over onto its side - the bucket is raised/lowered while also moving sideways - the level of liquid is changed (like someone is drinking the liquid through a straw) Could you enlighten us a bit aaver?
  2. This is awsome. I'm gonna have someone I know at Dream Works whose project is strictly water dynamics take a look at this. I'll post her critique. A:M doing the work of Dream Works - Who would've thought
  3. Nicely done. Sterile, but nice, in an industrial way
  4. It'll be no contest. This is a winner hands down
  5. Oh yah! Looks much better And yeah, what's with the pancakes?
  6. What do you mean by (makes the boob invert on itself). Could you show a picture?
  7. Wallace would be proud to own this bike Exquisite work.
  8. Looks really cool. The robot seems to blend in and his pose doesn't look natural. Maybe if you have him cross his arms and lean against the S will help create a contrast to the strong vertical lines of the letters.
  9. Check your camera or render settings. Make sure fog is off.
  10. Looks pretty good. I didn't see any problems except for missing secondary motions on the pony tail
  11. Nice walk pose, I like the hip movement. Could use some secondary motion in the chest area. Oh, can you do something about the limp?
  12. I just love your textures/maps. Try the bike in clay, let's see what happens. Could you share your texturing technique, secret? Please?
  13. The updated version looks better. For what its worth, I've made an airbrush design of the word AIR a long time ago, and textured the word in concrete against a blue sky background. Might make for a nice contrast to your sky?
  14. Excellent texturing. Motorcycle and biker are stylistically compatable. Headlight and blinkers don't seem 'glassy'.
  15. That's an awsome looking shot! Great looking dinosaur. Regarding the exaggerated toes, after looking at the animation several times, I don't think they're that exaggerated. I pleayed the walk motion in my mind several times and the exaggeration doesn't seem as bad when the walk cycle continues. See if you can give us a longer cycle, or maybe loop it somehow.
  16. Adding to Eric's observations: 5- Good secondary motion in the tail. The head (being so large and heavy) as well as the upper arms need as much attention as the tail (a little head bobbing maybe).
  17. Hello Mish; ahlayn u sahlayn u marhabtayn I'm originally from Baghdad. I lived a couple of years in Beirut (1973-1975), most beautiful years of my life. Just wanted to introduce myself to you and welcome you to A:M. Wish you all the success.
  18. Flatten the neck a bit (from the sides). Goat's necks are more like this () than an O.
  19. Whoa The optical illusion makes it look like it's forever shrinking.
  20. Cartooning is basically changing the proportions of a subject to illustrate a certain look that expresses a character, emotion, attitude etc.. If you want your goat to be appealing to children, for example, a small body with a large head, small snout, big eyes and tiny horns would be one way. Ya know? Cutesy look Your goat's head is cartoony enough, but the body, especially the belly doesn't seem to fit. Fatten up the belly a bit and see what happens.

For a still model it shouldn't be too hard to do the paint. I thought you wanted to animate it, that's where the challenge lies. The car's bad ass
  22. What a beautiful concept. This is the kind of work that makes me think "Why didn't I think of that?" I've been to the Bellagio many times, not as a guest, just to use the VIP restrooms in the lobby (gold plated handle faucets, marble floors, huge mirrors), fit for a king. As impressive as Bellagio's real fountain chor., you did a very nice job choreographing to the choice of music. And adding color to the sprites was a nice touch. As I remember, the fountains at Bellagio were lit with more of a golden color lighting than simple white. Also, something about the girl's front bangs that didn't move quite right at the end. Very nice work overall. Present it to Bellagio! Who knows, maybe a paid job will come out of it

Mirage distributes this paint in cans. I painted my motorcycle with that color. I don't know how you're going to duplicate that paint's characters in A:M. The reflected light changes color as the angle changes. The paint is an irridescent paint with different reflective qualities to get different colors. This will be a challenge.
