Again looking swell David. One thing - Just before the hand slap, when he puts his glasses back on and he sorta waves to her, it looks almost as if he's waving at the camera instead of her. Maybe rotate his head more towards her there. I don't think he looks too floaty. Doug

One frame from a clip about bags

Very nice Serg - always good to see your work. Please post the clip too. Doug -
Oh yes, that is very clear now. Great update. Now - we need a reaction on her face when he pulls at her chest before the implant. Sort of a look of pain or a whince. Also a slight reaction in her body would further improve it. Doug

Stupid me, I read the posts while downloading the clip, but it was pretty readable to me. But another angle might help get the point across better. Very nice, snappy animation on the doctor. I like how you make these objects (exam table, implants) just appear. Very ACME. His face after applying the implants is perfect. He looks like he likes them and he also looks a bit loony. Looking forward to more. Doug

Stunning work Frank! Is this your own design ? Doug

Hey I really like this ...err... fella? It's got a nice organic/mechanical feel to it. Just a thought, perhaps add a touch of detail to the thingies that hold up the eyes. This could be done with texturing or modeling I believe. Just to add more interest and to break up the chrome-iness a tad. Very nice concept. Doug

Jiminy Cricket !! Wow I was going to ask "what are you doing with the software now" and then Rodney gave us this link. Fantastic artist you are AntonyW, please show us more of your work !! Doug

To my eyes this render is still too dark. I can't see the detail that I'm sure you've put into this model. Doug

Terrific ! I want one. Doug

Not to derail this thread but ... I was really enjoying the discussion between Dimos and Raf. Are you guys gonna continue the conversation elsewhere? Cya, Doug

David - So cool ! Update? Soon? Doug

I'll third that. Bunny looks good so far. As Vern said it would be nice to place him/her in a scene later, but we're getting ahead of you now aren't we? Doug
-
Pengy - I have no suggestion for you but will say that each pic you post looks better than the one before it. The ear pieces seem sort of dark and lack specularity as in your reference. Keep on! Doug

OH BABY !!! That looks fantastic now. Much more atmospheric too. Doug

Yupper, I think so ... ugh, now I'll have to go and check. Doug

John - Wonderful job. I like the new ending with the close up of the star. The only thing that I might change is to frame her reaction to the grey painting more. With the angle as it is I didn't pick up that she was looking at the grey painting very well. You now have one camera angle to handle both paintings. Perhaps a shot of her from behind looking at the grey one? Maybe it's just me. I really appreciate the design of this one. Very unique. Doug

Mike - Hey thanks for talking through this with me. This statement of yours put me on the right track - I went into the Setup relationship of the rig and compared the Left foot with the Right foot and lo and behold the two were way off. I edited the properties there, saved as a new model and I'm all set. What a relief. Cheers for the help! Doug

Hi Mike and thanks for replying - I've attached another screen shot. I've looked in the relationships folder to see if anything looks different from Left foot to Right and I can't see anything. Is this where I should be looking to diagnose? And further, since the relationships were created with the rig, can I just copy them from the 2001 Skeleton without overrighting the entire rig? Or must I start over? I'm sort of flying blind as I don't really know what I'm looking for. Thanks again. Doug

Hello Riggers - I'm working on the main character for my short and recently upgraded to version 11.1b in order to use control point weighting. However, when I bring my character into a new action or chor, his default pose now has a messed up left foot. Details : I'm using the 2001 Skeleton rig, A:M version 11.1b. This issue didn't show up in earlier A:M versions. What might be causing this? See attached screen shot. Thank you for any suggestions. Doug

At the risk of being a fan boy post - this is simply, stunning and marvelous work ! Congrats Jim ! The ballet really suits this character. Or this character is suited to ballet. And I think the short hair works well for her, even though I gather you have something else in mind for her. Just "WOW" kind of work. Doug

Semi-realistic cloth movement for a cartoon cloak

Looks swell ! Doug -
Great Vern. That's thick like a nice slice of bologna. Mmmmm ...bologna. I'd like to look at the material too. Doug

Hi Jim - Most excellent model. I like the jeans however there doesn't seem to be a seam towards the foot, ya know where that yellow stitching is that folds over. Perhaps this is what you mean by a more detailed decal? Nice body shape, it's nice to see a female modeled who doesn't have ridiculously large breasts (every now and then). Doug

Love it ! The character is beautifully done. Do you have any plans for using Hash's hair with him? Perhaps some eyebrows or some sparse facial hair here and there would be neat. Show us more please! Doug

Very good so far. I really like the setting and the colors. In particular I like how you're animating him, very Warner-ish. I'd love to see his eyes pop out of his head when he spots her (or whatever he spots). I think the tongue reads very well. Keep on it man. I'll raise a cup of coffee to you while I'm working on mine.
