  1. Hi folks - Here's something that I just modeled for Cigar Wars - a film being produced by Rock Noise Animations. A simple, low spline Doctors/Forensics bag. ..d
  2. Yeah it's ugly as sin. WHAT !?! Fantastic design and modeling and render. Just wow. ..d
  3. Very cool design and nice modeling too. I'm enjoying your progress. ..d
  4. Mike - Thanks for continuing to update us on your fantastic work. I find these long term and grande projects (like yours, Smudge's, and Dearmad's) very motivating. As far as the updates go, when I look at his cheeks (in the posted pic the right cheek) it appears almost like he's got a growth on his face. I don't mean any disrespect at all, it's just what I see. Best of luck with the cloth - and the whole film. ..d
  5. Very cool ! Perhaps change the pose a bit so he isn't so symetrical. Lower one arm and bend the knees and angle the spine, like a boxer's crouch. Nice use of the toon render. ..d
  6. Fascinating to see how you work or think or dream. Thanks for doing this and please ping us when you've got more to see ! ..d
  7. Great stuff. Missed this before. What are the plans for this? ..d
  8. Gee, i appreciate your enthusiasm and that you are bearing it all for us to see. Learning sometimes isn't pretty but it is exciting. You have way more nerve than I do. Good luck with your journey. ..d
  9. Wow that is so unique. Those eyes ! Congrats on this character and I hope to see her move. ..d
  10. I had it pegged for some sort of milk shake maker. But haunted. ..d
  11. Welcome George and great model. Pff first model in A:M. You people kill me. Looks like this project is really coming together! T'is cool to see another team pulling together for a bigger project. Go cats go! ..d
  12. Hi Chris - Yeah you were right. I rendered it with no multipass and this time with no motion blur and it looks fine. Thanks for the suggestion. ..d
  13. Hello folk - I'm trying to put together a simple ball exercise. I've constrained my ball to a path, dropped on an action, rendered and ... ewww. It appears that each time my ball squashes and stretches it is fouling the render. Please see attached. Any idea what may be causing this? I've tried this in a couple of different chor's and same result. I'm using ver 10.5r. Thanks for any help. ..d Lesson1_Dtest.mov
  14. Great work. I love that grandfather clock ! Very grainy, foggy and spooooooky renders. Nice stuff. ..d
  15. Opinions are like ... well here's mine. Keep the teeth! I think they work as they are. ..d
  16. Cool ! What is the clip from? ..d
  17. Looks great! Makes me wish I had though of feet for my raindrop. Go man go! ..d
  18. I hope this fella doesn't have any kids. Something tells me those windows aren't code. Great stuff. Keep it coming. ..d
  19. Hey Flog - your dedication to this project is showing. I really like the stuff you've posted here. In particular the last one Kalimar. Keep at it !
  20. Very nice. Plus it makes me want to see more of your film. Doug
  21. Man, what a great character! I think you're really on to something with this guy. He is a blast. Doug
  22. Cool ! I like that you're including music with these. Makes it seem more finished though I gather they're part of a WIP (well, duh they're in the WIP forum). Please tell us more about your production. How long will it be? Are you doing this all yourself? Doug
  23. I really enjoyed this. Nice job with the whole thing. In particular I think you handled getting the look to match pretty well. I think as the Kamps mentioned it would look more authentic if the frame rate were sped up on the the live action stuff. It would be cool if you would tell us more in depth how you did this. Great job and very pleasing short. Can't wait to see it edited. Doug
  24. Hi Dale - I remember this fella. He is so darn cute and I think his little run suits him. His feet seem too big for his body (and I mean that in a good way). To my eyes his nose seems a bit too highlited, almost plastic-ey. Perhaps that's what you're going for, if so kindly disregard this thought. Can't wait to see more of him. Doug
