LOOKS like you have it already built in the model. You CAN use actions to assemble models... simply make a new action(using the base of your model...like for instance the FRAME.) and start dragging and dropping the models you want in there... if they are not pre-registered you will need to size them and place them right where they need to be. Then, in a chor- bring in the base model (ie FRAME) and then simply drag the action you made onto it and VIOLA! your model is built from the action!

Before you commence editorial Rob... you should post a list of everyone you got submissions from, give people a chance to say 'where's mine?'

Just DL'd this again and tried it in V16beta4/64... it does not seem to show up under wizards, must be a 64bit issue...

Looking good Spleenster! Here are some images I use to feed into the environment material for fakey reflections.

Yuppers! Lookin good so far!

Wonderful animation. Very bizarre. My rule of thumb... animate all day-render all night. Weekends are a rendering 'bonus'.

UNLESS, you were planning to use the AI wizard... then you need a V8 AI. -
FUN!

Adobe Illustrator vs other Scalable Vecter Graphic programs

If you happen to have Flash or Photoshop kickin around... they both do. (NOT free tho...) -
The ceiling grid needs to be a closed mass in order for the boolean to cut into it. So does the shape that makes the cut (the boolean)

You can use 'patch images'... make the road CPs a group and then drag your road decal onto the group. If any are oriented wrong way... hilite the CPs, RT-click and select 'rotate images', each time will rotate the image 90degrees clockwise.

I always thought sales of A:M would skyrocket if we took a 'Poser-esque' approach... sell/include models of ...models! Hot young jettsetting couples complete with disrobing actions...flowing hair... runway/risque choreographies... Theres no reason it could'nt be done- plus here's 2 things in your favor: 1- Poser sucks 2- A:M rocks.

trouble with cookie cut decal

I guess that supports what Nancy said... the 'occulting' effect... (great, now she has ME using that word...) it may have to do with the camera lens width as well. Should this be a reported bug? OR- should I just never do this again... -
Yeah...shipping a CD is so...2005.

Yes, I am now in the process of aborting the patch-image approach and going with a higher patched decal... and I am getting better results. 'Occults', ay? You would know more about that than I...being from California and all. -
Do you have a vehicle in mind for doing the selling, like an e-commerce website?

Yup--- weirdsville deluxe! I tried the decal-switcheroo, no luck. I copy/pasted some of the seats into a new model, same results. Here is the model, see if it happens for you, please. SEATSproblem.zip -

I'll try the 'switcheroo' darkwing, good idea. I tried the same project in V16 with same results... Nancy- you give me a good idea... I'll copy paste the questionable geometry into a new file... see if it works there... if NOT, i'll zip it and post the model. -
ROB- Here is my submission. I did not want to share it with the masses, but I can't think of any other way to get it to you- and just you. Also, you wanted individual jpeg frames- but I made a Quicktime... this way I am sending you one link and not 500+. Let me know if you really-really need frames, I'll figure another way to send it... I'll probably need your email address so I can send you a link to a dropbox folder. -Thanks! http://dl.dropbox.com/u/5257446/BUSSTOP_Matt%20Campbell1.mov

Normals are all facing forward. Renders the same in Preview, multi or non multi. -

I just tried setting the decal from cookie-cut to color... same results. What is going on here? (V15.0J PC) -
Hey- I am making a 'GRANDSTAND' a lot of seats that will be viewed from afar but need to be there... I've made some simple geometry that holds a cookie cut decal, but when I go to render... every-other row of seats comes out fuzzy! I've tried rotating the image... checked normals... I can't figure out what causes this imperfection...?
