I am looking for a fully textured and rigged "grey" alien of the classic type, pictured on these web pages: http://www.crowdedskies.com/grey_alien.htm# http://www.crowdedskies.com/alien_pictures2.htm Other than your standard arm/leg/torso type rigging, I'm looking for blinking eyes and basic mouth movements. I would prefer that Anzovin's Setup Machine rig be used, but will not require it. Regardless, shoulders must be rigged to give reasonable rotation. I would also prefer that the torso be modelled/textured/displaced so that a rib cage shows through (slightly). The overall body sense should be sinewy, not ill-defined or lacking detai…

Hello all, I have a project and I need a model built and rigged, pose sliders for lip sync and facial expression. The model is rather simple but the poses will need the attention. Facial expression, lip sync, etc... I need to hear from all interested parties. I made a post here some time ago with miserable results. People who began the work then flaked out. DON'T WASTE MY TIME! If you are good and reliable, I want to hear from you. Thanks to all! Tom Rennen Intelligent Light LLC tom@tomrennen.com www.tomrennen.com

A former AnimationMentor classmate of mine, Kevin Detwiler, is finishing up his final "short film" project and is looking for someone to help him with lighting it. I got to see his animatic, which was funny, and Kevin's a strong animator (and had Victor Navonne supervising him) so i think this would be a very fine project to be associated with. It takes place mostly inside a gym/health club so someone talented at lighting characters in indoor situations would be good. I recall there is one outdoor scene too. Since he doesn't have a render farm, think solutions that are minutes per frame, not hours. I don't know about pay, if any, but you can contact K…

We are in need of a person to model, texture and rig a 2003 Grey Ford F-250. Specifications: The interior of the vehicle needs to have the dash area in front of the driver look reasonably good. It will be a night scene, so the gauges will be illuminated. The overall dimensions of the vehicle should reflect the real thing and should not be scaled. The exterior of the vehicle should be made and assembled as separate components. For example, the door should be separate from the front fender and the hood should be separate from the two front fenders and front grill…etc. The left front fender needs sufficient splinage to reflect the damage shown in the imag…

Hello, I am reaching a deadline on a project i have going here and was hoping I could get some assistance from someone. What I am looking for is someone to rig a head mesh using Squesh rig facial display setup. I would try to set it up myself but I have not had the time to even try a run through of any on the tutorials. I would provide you with the mesh of course and we can discuss payment arrangements. So anyone who wants to help, knows what they're doing, and isn't looking to get rich from this; your response is welcome . thanks Paradymx

As you may know I'm developing my "Nightcrawlers" project in A:M. I'm looking for someone to rig Skarab, who you can see in the Feature/Special Topics forum. It's a straightforward rigging job. The project will grow later, but for now I'm looking to have this one character rigged and at the same time get a sense of the cost. Things to keep in mind are the non-standard anatomy requiring special attention to the shoulders and hips, as well as a fully rigged face with non-standard eyes and eyebrows. The model is about 90% done. The only remaining work is modeling teeth, finishing up his "utility belt", finishing the decaling, and organizing groups in prep for the riggin…

Hello--- GREAT new forum here at Hash! I put out a job bid today on some animation that would entail closeups and action shots of a 'rubix cube'... I seem to remember, maybe way back in the 'Hash-List' day (pre-forum) someone had come up with a way to rig this puzzle, which may sound easy...but it ern't. Please contact me if you know who it was, or if you feel you are up to the task. I will need a quote for services, and if/when the job happens (no promises) then we will arrange payment/delivery. Please do not respond here. Direct any replies via email. Here is a link of a rubix cube puzzle if you are unfamiliar... http://www.ninedirect.com/skin/wh…

Hey gang, Been away for a while working on some projects that involved AM to some point, but haven't had much of a chance to come hang around the boards in a long time. Anyway, I have the opportunity to provide some proof of concept animation for the Bibleman stuff I had done for our video game, but for television. The models I have are rigged, but really need to have the Squetch rig installed. I have 4 biped models that need it, and this is for pay. So I'm taking bids from anyone who needs the work, knows what they're doing, and isn't looking to get rich quick off of this. I would need the models done sooner than later if possible. You can email me at goodgame…

Hi, Try as I might, I totally suck at trying to model a face from a photograph. Is there anyone out there who is good at face modelling who would be interested in taking on a commission to model a face for me? I have very good photographs of front, back, left, right and top of the head/face I need modelled. This is for a church project and I'm paying for it out of my own pocket so I don't have a TON of money to spend, but I would be willing to spend a reasonable amount to pay someone, and if you have experience (and can show me samples) of your work of doing really nice work, I could probably find it in my heart to dig a little deeper to pay more for real…

I have a need for an exterior model of a house. Curtains could block off most of the view inside from the exterior and I'll need a front or back door that opens for a character to walk thru, but the lighting and camera view will be such that the interior view is blocked off (additionally a simple interior wall could help). Other interior details would not be needed. Also the story needs a driveway and garage - attached or unattached - it's up to you. Besides all of this I'll need one window to be partially opened and a curtain draped so as to partially obscur the view, so the camera can zoom in (Peeping Tom style) to the interior room - WHICH I'LL PROVIDE. Lastly the mode…

I am new to the animation world and have been toying with the program and have the hang of the basics. I am working for a nonprofit organization on a project and we have a need for some models. I feel I can do the basic animation necessary for the project but cannot create the models needed. Basically, what we need is a model of a fishing rod and reel, an archery bow, and a gun. I can provide the pictures of the objects we want to use. If you would be interested, please let me …

I was recently contacted by a company (I can't disclose much here) that is interested in moving their product from a Alpha/Beta product to a Production product. It is a product that has many similarities to functions that AM uses (textures, 3D objects, positioning, blending). I, unfortunately, do not have the time to work on this project. It is a paying project (paying quite well for the correct individual). It will require knowledge of C/C++, object oriented design, 3D objects, textures, graphical user interfaces, etc. It does not compete with AM, just requires some of the same knowledge that a developer may have if they have worked with AM. You also get to work fr…

This isn't really a "professional" job in any unspoken terms, but this is the "Help Wanted" section and probably the best place for it. As the other post above, this is a straight forward rigging and smart skinning, one model gig. Currently I've been using 2001 and wanted to try the squecth, but one step forward, two steps back. I'm out of patience and running out of lifespan, a hairline and my subscription... The model it's self, is rather incomplete... but that dosen't concern me yet (It's the body sculting I need) and she is also rather quite naked (but I don't know if that qualifies as the "x-rated" rule stated above). She's going to be a sword fighter, in a…

Were are in need of a plug-in or material. History: We regularly create terrains that have roads, dirt and grass. The roads are rarely straight and getting a blend from the road to the road shoulder to the grass is difficult to do well. We have experimented with creating a gradient material to blend between the road and grass. It works well as long as the road is straight with no curves. The gradient material only seems to work in straight lines. We need either a material that we can specify at least 3 different images (with normals) so we can create a transition that can follow curves, or some other plug-in. The material needs to tile well (wou…

I am wanting a fully rigged "terminator style" hand, such as this: Use some artistic license and don't be entirely literal with respect to the above picture or Arnold's Terminator character - one major difference is that instead of the wrist, I'm wanting it to terminate into a ball joint with some hydraulics, or levers or possibly cables (again, I'm allowing for artistic freedom). I'm wanting it to be fully textured with a gleaming metallic finish, but with some slightly different material used for the hinges, joints, hydraulics, cables, wires, etc - UNLIKE THE ABOVE PICTURE. It should have the full range of motion of a human hand - I prefer the detailed TSM2 …

Nonetheless, it should have the following: 1. extended into and out of "pipes" (just run them a foot or two and then loop them back into themselves - in the final application I'll hook them up to the rest of the scene) 2. An action (or set of actions) that produce "beating" and blood circulation along with demonstration of same in a rendered choreography. 3. Of course some sort of blood-like simulation should be done inside the thing - your choice o…

I have a job where I need a hawaiian male figure walking along a mountain ridge/cliff. 1. a. The animation actually only needs to be 2D but I figured building it in 3D in AM might be the most authentic solution. The mountain ridge has some dips and varying terrain. He will appear screen right carrying a hand fire torch (I can add the flame in my post production) and walk to the first tiki torch and light it. I would be willing to pay between $200 -$300 depending on the quality...PayPal or check via USMail. If it's already rigged for animation, GREAT! If not, I can use TSM2 to put a quadriped rig to it. If it has a modelled mane, GREAT- I may remove it and use particle hair though. The job is pending and I will keep you posted. Email me thru the forum email and show me some jpegs of your model. All of which will need to be modeled in 3d to reflect the actual person/costume character. I have the scripts in hand and a December deadline. I also have a render farm that is ready to get to work.
