Pengy Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Awesome job. The string of pearls with the sleazy outfit is a great touch. I take it she's not a ballet dancer? Quote

Mega Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Very nice indeed. Reminds me of drawings of Howard Chaykin. Yikes! Am I dating myself...? Can't wait to see more. What was the reference on this, too? Tony Quote
serg2 Posted November 9, 2004 Author Posted November 9, 2004 Thanks! Reference was Jassica Rabbit & my sex fantasy... Did made her of a head wireframe: Quote
hypnomike Posted November 9, 2004 Posted November 9, 2004 Yes she certainly has a nice set of...er...patches. Quote
Mega Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Again, excellent model. I especially like your spline"age" and form. Any chance to see other poses? Keep posting! Tony Quote
ypoissant Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 Fabulous model. Very efficient splinage. You found some interesting splineage solutions there. I especially like your solution for splining the shoulders and the gridlike splines for the breasts which is non traditional but gives you very low patch counts there. Bravo! Quote
Paul Forwood Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Great fun! Nice economical model and good dynamic pose. Excellent work again, Serg! :-) Quote
SLIDE Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 you are always wonderffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll :-* Quote

Stuart Rogers Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Going back to the Dancing Girl wireframe for a moment... I see you've used hooks to reduce the complexity of the hand splines down to the complexity of the arm splines. Nothing wrong with that, but... I would take the splines a little further up the arm to another (extra?) spline ring. Why? Because you might get wrist patches popping in and out as you flex the hand back and forth. By placing the hooks one spline further away from the wrists will minimise that. (I came across this phenomenon and the solution while animating my talking mattress.) Quote
