Wow - this is a great project to watch. My only comment is that the neck/head arrangement of the main character seems to give the indication that his head is kinked forward all the time.

Did someone ask... is that photographic steam or A:M particles?

the steam is a photo sequence ( layer )

 

Are the birds going to have the same leg/knee arrangement as the other characters?

I didn't work in the birds rig yet... maybe they haven´t rig anyway .. just poses

Sorry - I didn't mean the rig. The birds appear to have full legs rather than just feet and knees.

the light setup for first scene is done .... now it's time to populate it with more props.

this project is being a pleasure, much much much work remains to be done.

Thanks for your incentive, friends.

 

This scene was done using 1 klieg ( volumetric ) and 1 bulb + radiosity

 

render time ( 200 frames / 480p / 24 fps / netrender 8 cores) = 52h 38m

 

We have an A:Mazing tool in our hands !!!!
