  6. Nice design ... I suggest you to start with the eye´s hole... then extrude it then part of it ...basically you will model your gecko using the extrude tool .. using this method and your rotoscope I modeled this head in 5 minutes... I attached the model if you want to use as reference gecko_head.mdl

  9. Hi Tbenefi .... I already modeled a bettle 1969 to the mechanical contest.. and I know how is hard to do it... its curved shapes is hardest to model then the other cars.     Creases

    there is a material called PORCELAIN that smooth splines .... you should try it... but the best way to smooth a model is to mantain an efficient splinage and a low count of the patches
  11. Hi Jesse.... Nice animation... I noticed that you rotate just one axis.. I already worked in a similar project in 2005 but rotating in the 3 axis, you can check it here
  12. Nice animation/set Dagoos.... a bit of motion blur would be great there. Did you notice the shadow below of the tree in the frame that the ball disappears ?

    my first pass

    Thank you very much friends !!!! I'm working on take #2 .. I noticed some mistakes in the first one... the intensity light was decreasing ( 100 to 60 ) and when the ball appears in his left hand, the elbow is entering in the body.. I fixed both... and I'm testing a new light setup too ... thanks for your comments ...

  24. Hi friends ... I decided to participate in the 11second contest in this month... probably I'll use the Sam as main character, and the secondary character will be a dog. I modeled/textured the dog this morning and here is the result.
