  1. As a former "video editor", (that is how Design Dynamics got started), I have played on both sides of the fence (Mac and Windows). FCP was easy to get up and running. Vegas was too, but early days it was buggy. So I keep using Premeire. Pro tools, Avid even back in the day of the Toaster, when it dominated the scene, my favorite was Vegas. Open format, unlimited tracks, no matter the content, etc.. I have not edited a video since 2006. I still have all the software. Loaded Premiere the other day and it would not capture with the new computer hardware technology, oh well. Those days were a lot of fun. Steve
  2. Rodney I agree. The credits are my favorite. The hair blowing and the look of the dragon is great. His dragon reminds so much of the Gronkle dragon in How to train your dragon from Dreamworks. This is a great piece of work Steve
  3. Gene I bought AM back in 98 and used it video titles and nothing else. I continued to update it but put it on the shelf and did not use AM until 2006 after I saw this video. I love the look and movement of the character. the lighting and animation are top notch. Steve
  4. Cool cockpit. nice job on the modeling of both mechanical and organic. Good start.
  5. I like the second and third fire in a sphere. Very nice. Steve
  6. Jeff thanks for the answer I will check the settings and re render with alernative settings.
  7. Having to rethink using sss. On the models I have seperated the skin geometry and still getting a flash where the skin hits itself. The fingers will show the flash. In the case of Cindy, I can not seperate the skin grouping. Not sure if this a bug or how sss is programmed. Steve
  8. Also you might talk to Jody, aka MMZ Timelord, as I recall he did a model of the Golden Gate Bridge. might be of some help Steve
  9. Playing with Jason's default chor Steve
  10. Great Stuff David. Some day!!
  11. Thanks Paul. just trying to add a few office details.
  12. David This is an awesome update. That was the main problem I had with the face interface was selecting it without the camera and then being able to see my face movement. Love that. Also the leg setup is great. Love the ability to swith ik and fk and now squetch all at the same time. Great work!!! Steve
  13. Awesome Mark. I could use some of this on Cupid's Sick Day city set. Great work Steve
  14. Finished the staff office furniture. Probable use some of the furniture from extra cd in the reception area.
  15. I really like this character! I love the tie texture. He really looks great! The weird thing is, I just man a man that could pass as his twin! Steve
  16. Hey thanks Jason, good advice! I created this in 2006 when there was no thought about Cupids Sick Day and I was doing video work. The basic is this. You will see a hand throw the paint brush in the cup. and the camera will pan back to see the person walking away from the easel to reveal DDI. Inside the film strip a video will be playing. each offset by 1/24 frame. Anyway that is the basics of the shot. Steve
