  1. I was mainly looking at net render. I will upload corrected render in a few minutes
  2. It has been too long since I played with after effects. Converted the pngs to mov and here is the first run of rendering with netrender 16 Steve
  3. Rendering my first walk cycle of 8 seconds with net render in vga resolution. It has hair and sss. Rendering on a quad core I7 960 3.2 with 12 gigs of Ram. So far each frame is rendering at 46 seconds. Working like a charm. Steve
  4. John Good point! here is the start of the clothes. Borrowed boots from previous project and put some khaki shorts on. This character is a rework from my third character created in AM. I had a huge number of splines. Cleaned it up substantially!! Steve

  8. Thanks Myron Here is a shot with cupid showing he is sick. But notice using fastao with 5 point patches and transperancy is causing an issue Will look at the settings. AO
  9. Thanks everyone. They are finally coming alive! I used FastAO on the render and I noticed some issues with transperency. Is this a problem that anyone else has noted? Steve

  13. I restarted am and the skin tones moved back to red. I had to go out of town for work for a few days. Maybe to slow at updating this section. Steve

  15. just started to play with the hair, but even with 100 density and sss and Fast AO was 2:24 a frame at 720p. Not to bad Steve
  16. I know Jeff, it was like an alien, now it looks more human. Anyway got to run and take care of some computer networks. Won't have a chance to get to the hair until prpobably tomorrow. Steve

  18. Hi Chris Working on the hair right now. It is going to be a full head of hair using Hair rather than a cap. Corrected the sock area, reworked the chin and added the ears. On to the mouth and the clean up. hair should be ready tomorrow. Steve
