  5. Great job Mark. I will try to do a window this time around. Steve
  6. Great scene. I love the lighting and colors chosen. Well Done! Steve
  7. I would believe it. The secondary and slighter movements of the rig are outstanding. I love the faces that can be achieved very quickly. Steve
  8. Played with the face rig you set up, and that is really cool!! I can see the rig in place and then set up poses as needed, this could be a really easy and quick way to set things up!! Steve
  9. That really works well. Very nice job! Steve
  10. Happy Birthday Rich (vertexspline)

    Multipass

Not to steal the topic, but I love those characters, Nancy. They are so much fun and the set and lighting is wonderful. Ok back to multi pass rendering. Steve
  12. I like this one. Very cute and you could do a lot with this one Steve
  13. I have been reading on set design and lighting, working on background characters, reworking extra cd and dvd characters for background use, learning about rigging, (getting frustrated on weighting), cleaning up characters, reducing patches on models, and beginning to realize "what have I gotten myself into", but having fun all the while! Just not a whole lot to post right now. I hope to have another set of characters rigged in the next few weeks. I will try to start rigging the faces. Mark has been patiently guiding and helping me get things going. i hope to have a new character modeled and rigged for the forum project to help me back into animating. I have enjoyed all the activity on the forum and looking forward to the revised TOAM tutorials, not only for me but some others that I have convinced to try AM. Steve
  14. Really nice David Steve
  15. As a former "video editor", (that is how Design Dynamics got started), I have played on both sides of the fence (Mac and Windows). FCP was easy to get up and running. Vegas was too, but early days it was buggy. So I keep using Premeire. Pro tools, Avid even back in the day of the Toaster, when it dominated the scene, my favorite was Vegas. Open format, unlimited tracks, no matter the content, etc.. I have not edited a video since 2006. I still have all the software. Loaded Premiere the other day and it would not capture with the new computer hardware technology, oh well. Those days were a lot of fun. Steve
  16. Rodney I agree. The credits are my favorite. The hair blowing and the look of the dragon is great. His dragon reminds so much of the Gronkle dragon in How to train your dragon from Dreamworks. This is a great piece of work Steve
  17. Gene I bought AM back in 98 and used it video titles and nothing else. I continued to update it but put it on the shelf and did not use AM until 2006 after I saw this video. I love the look and movement of the character. the lighting and animation are top notch. Steve
  18. Cool cockpit. nice job on the modeling of both mechanical and organic. Good start.
  19. I like the second and third fire in a sphere. Very nice. Steve
  20. Holy Cow that looks great! Steve
  21. Awesome. Love the eyes, Steve
  22. Jeff thanks for the answer I will check the settings and re render with alernative settings.
  23. Mark this looks wonderful!
  24. Having to rethink using sss. On the models I have seperated the skin geometry and still getting a flash where the skin hits itself. The fingers will show the flash. In the case of Cindy, I can not seperate the skin grouping. Not sure if this a bug or how sss is programmed. Steve
  25. Also you might talk to Jody, aka MMZ Timelord, as I recall he did a model of the Golden Gate Bridge. might be of some help Steve
