  1. Those look beautiful!
  2. The last constraint takes precedence over the first one. Do the "aim at" after the path constraint.
  3. looks great. How did you do the mayonaisse?
  4. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........... nope, not convinced yet. show me some reference footage of you doing that. In tights.
  5. To clearly analyze this we'd have to get a look from one stable camera position (from the side). But he seems to be leaving the ground with bent legs, which is just about impossible if he's going to hurl his body into the air. there also seems to be quite a bit of "redo" in his body movement at the first cut

  7. calculating? that could mean lots of things. rendering? locating? I suppose if an off-camera patch cast a shadow on-camera it would need to be considered in some way.
  8. cute image, i especially like the chimney!
  9. Would a decal serve to color the feathers? A decal wouldn't translate.
  10. good looking fish! the gills might need re-thinking.
  11. Copy and paste won't work? What will having multiple models in the same model file get for you?
  12. Hey that looks good!
  13. i notice the movie is only rendered at 15 fps. that's going to make any fast motion look jerky. 24 or 30fps would get more inbetweens in there.
  14. Sheridan college, wow! Welcome to A:M. Keep all those 2D things they taught you in mind and you'll do well with it.
  15. from looking at the movie I'd guess it's a "Stride Length" problem. The stride length is set too small so she's going thru each cycle too fast.
  16. I notice that happening after the first use of the magnet tool. The sphere will show up for the first selection but not always for others after that. try turning magnet mode off then on again. worth a try.
  17. Welcome to A:M! I think blobbies are a good choice. I'd make them much faster and briefer for a sudden "splat"
  18. It's a zip file with stuff in it... use "extract" in winzip to save the stuff to somewhere on your hard drive. Wizip has "help" if you're not sure how to do it. Make sure you remember where you extracted to... because that's where you're going to go in A:M to load these things. You want to load a model? rightclick on "objects" in the Project Workspace >Import>Model
  19. I axed him and axed him to embed those models...
  20. Hey, the crowd is very quiet during dives! It's like a tennis match, except with water. And no rackets or John McEnroe. A gasp from the crowd[attachmentid=14713] And then a distant "That's gotta hurt!" LoonGasp.mov
  21. Zach is the king of the Animation:Master one-man short! What? No crowd noise?
  22. Doe this have anything to do with the settings onthe "sound" tab in the Options panel? No sound playing at all? You did drag the sound into the Chor, not just import it?
  23. The project file, the file you save when you go to the Project menu and do "Save As". Make sure you "embed" the models first. (I told you how to do that already.)
  24. for some reason .prj files can't be attached here, but if you change the extension to .txt you can. Or if you know how to zip files you can post a .zip
  25. It's good practice to render anything important to a targa sequence. image000.tga image001.tga image002.tga... you can reload that targa sequence back into A:M and resave as a compressed QT or AVI Or, take them to an NLE to marry sound to the animation.
