  1. Great model. Looks like you have managed to be very spline efficient, yet he is very detailed
  2. Hi Try this plugin: E_Rebuild
  3. You need to embed the project. Project->Embed All, save, then upload again
  4. I opened the project. The black box is the prison walls. Select the model called "Shortcut to PrisonWall" and hide it. Its an icon right next to the name that looks like a wireframe cube, change that to the eye with the red cross over it
  5. I'm not sure what you mean, but if the screen gets all black it might be related to lighting. Try to toggle "Use Front Realtime Light" ON or OFF. You'll find it under the Properties of the choreography
  6. You are not helping much here. Could you please explain at what situation A:M freeze. Is it related to decaling, smartskinning etc, is it when modeling or in the choreography etc. Please be a bit more specific, so that we might able to help you. Just a rant post doesn't do any good
  7. What are you trying to do? What version of A:M are you using?
  8. Happy new year! You are a very talented modeler, so I bet this thread will become inspirational for me and many more. Please post wireframes on the go so that we can pick your brain The model looks nice so far. Do you intend to bevel the edges?
  9. Thank you for the comments guys! You'll never find a slotmachine in Norway. There used to be some king of coin-winning machines in regular store up to a few years ago, but they was made illegal. All kind of gambling (except for some online poker) is controlled by the government. They have monopoly on those things
  10. Hello friends. Here is a simple model/illustration I have been working on at work. It might be used as an illustration for an device finder. Katrine Solberg did the decals. Let me know what you think
  11. This looks absolutely jaw dropping! Very nice style and mood. Thanks for the inspiring work!
  12. Demo of the ship on the ocean using boolean shaded (showing the boolean cutter): shaded.movfinal: final.mov *Edit* opps didn't see you post
  13. simply constraint the cutter bone to a null to make it become static, so that you are able to move your ship independently to the cube
  14. Keep the cubemodel (ocean) level
  15. As far as I know it have to be part of the model. Simply add the cube from the library and scale it. Add one bone to the ship and one bone to the cube. In the cubebone properties set "Boolean Cutter" to ON. The cubebone needs to be the child
  16. Hi Mark. I got some good news for you. Boolean works like a sharm. Only the cutter needs to be solid, so no need to alter the model;) Here is a quick test showing the shaded render, final render and the alpha. This might save you some work?
  17. What if you use boolean to cut out the bottom of the ship? Make an box object where the ocean is and use it to cut?
  18. This definitely made me smile! Good job!
  19. Thank you very much for the nice comments!
  20. I was not able to open up the .mov file
  21. Thank you animas3D and Rodney I can't take full credit for the walk cycle since I took the resolute walk as a starting point and simply tweaked it to fit the walker Your assumptions are correct. Live action was the reason for the choice of model. However it will most likely end up with as a short test clip.. no story etc
