Brilliant work! There's a few of us Hashers in England, do you want us to "send the boys round"? Good luck and keep up the great work.
-
You have an excellent model there. Even though it doesn't look exactly like the image you've rotoscoped from it is a work of art in it's own right. Great work.
-
Fast work! The shape looks great and I'm sure that the tweaking advised by others will make this a cool model.

First attempt creating a character

Hi Mark! Great work, he looks a real mean son of a gun! Can't wait to see the finished face. Thanks for the e mail! Cheers Mike -
I'm amazed that this is only your second picture. It really is very good. Well done!

I too can only echo David's assesments. Take his advice and you'll have a picture that you could hang on the wall. Great work and not being in the top four is no disgrace, the competition was top drawer. Congrats to all who took part.

The concrete looks great. The stains don't look so good to my eyes, I think they should be darker, like the colour of tea perhaps. Like water stains as Zaryn suggested. The bridge it's self is excellent.

Cute! I look forward to the animations.

Great work, the animation is very true to life.

It's great to see your characters animated in context. Your work is really coming to life now.

Nice work on Flyn you've made him sufficiently different to Gnosh for the viewer to know that they are two different characters despite obvious similarities, not an easy task.

Great pose, looking better all the time. One suggestion, I think he may look better with one hand open rather than both clenched. I think it would work best on the trailing hand. Like he's going to punch then grab, or grab and punch if front is unclenched. Looks great though. Mike

The lighting makes a big difference. The vase is now less intrusive. Good work. Mike

Nice job! I could just imagine the image used in a catalogue, well done!
-
Looks much better, I'm sure you've got enough detail for your fly by.

A stunning piece of work Colin, great pose a very dynamic Marvel effect.
-
Well done Andy! A super hero quotes Monty Python! Great job.

You might want to give light gels a try. I've not used them so I enclose this quote from the Technical Reference. You definitely need to make your hero the main focus of the shot, he needs to be foreground with the searchlight in the background. All the detail you've put into him is lost in the long shot. Hope this helps. Mike

The effect works great on the searchlight Robert but Infinity Man now looks a little insignificant in your picture. I think you should make him the main focus and have the light very much in the background as you improve your composition. Hope this helps. Best Wishes Mike

Cool ship! I notice the movement in the body is similar to the real thing, is this going to be part of the propultion system also? It looks like it should be expelling through the back. Keep it up. Mike

Great opening shots Jess! I like the way that everytime I think the last ship has appeared another comes on screen. Some detail was lost on me due to being too dark, is it my monitor or a result of compression? Have you composed the soundtrack in advance or do you prefer to see the animation for inspiration? Keep posting Jess, this is a very interesting project. Best Wishes Mike

I've played about with the roughness and specular settings, I've also made the bulk of his outfit the same colour as the pants didn't work for me.

Heh heh! Great work, I love overacting!

Look forward to seeing the little guy animated!
