  1. wow!!that's awesome...what about her face?? lol..
  2. It depends on the use of the model...if you were to use it in bullet time fighting it'd be great..but if it were used for rapid shooting, I'd use sprites with images or something...once again, ask Johnl3d
  3. whoops..lol got it mixed up
  4. Alright..here it is so far..not much, but I've never gotten this far this well
  5. Now this is weird: I took off the porcelain material and reapplied and it fixed it...sorry for the wasting thread..I'll probably change this to "Jaguar WIP"
  6. Whoops! That's a 4 point patch..here..I'll just post up the 5 point patch screen shot
  7. Alright...I'm starting over and decided to model a jaguar..here's my problem-->I'm stuck at connecting these two holes...I tried making a five point patch as outlined but it created this HUGE crease...trust me..not even porcelain or bias values could help.. How should I arrange the CP set so it's "good"?
  8. Alright..so you mean I should model the hood in a piece, then model from the fenders to the front, and have that as a piece, then model the doors, etc.?
  9. you should add more Cp's...that's just not enough.. about the gum angle 'n' stuff...hmm...I'm not sure what you could do
  10. Ok..tried flipping it..it's alright
  11. And with the front roto...
  12. Hey guys...I'm starting to model a ferrari....
  13. wow..that's weird...if you think that's why, just extrude and don't translate it (move it) anywhere..just move it back up to the original position of the first membrane you extruded from..then save that as a different copy just in case that was the solution
  14. About those creases...I think those are cause because of huge patches...Last night I was TRYING to model a car and I noticed huge patches like that caused creases
  15. the buns look too thin...scale larger on the y-axis
  16. If you do a search for "dynamics demo" in the WIP section you'll find a tuturial I made of simulating cloth with dynamic constraints and translate to constraints...in the tech talk video the guy explains how to do collision detect, which is something I forgot to explain in my tuturial EDIT: Nevermind..here's the link: Here it izzy
  17. I'd say add scales from the waist down (where the torso transitions to the long fish part)
  18. He's probably planning to use the Copy/flip/attach feature so that both sides will not only look symmetrical, but also only half the work must be done
  19. At first site it does, but for close up shots, you'd have to add some displacement..you could do this by making your pic a color decal, then making it Grayscale, and applying that as a displacement/bump
  20. Wow! looks pretty good...I still see some bumps on the hood, though...I suggest using porcelain as a conclusion to texturing
  21. Alright..here is the rough of the lighting
  22. Wow..thanks for the "compliment"...I did post something, it's called a lamp.
  23. Yeah...I forgot to add a light to that scene except for the spot one...All I did was add glow to the light bulb..just tried adding a light and it turned out awesome
  24. Here it is..what do you guys think? I made it to animate later...
  25. wow! from the last time I saw your work, I didn't think you'd be modeling THIS well now! Awesome job so far
