  1. I made a robot head for me to experiment with animation and expressions: I'll be postin' up some animations in a couple of days
  2. another thing that will help in the future...sweet idea
  3. It may be too late, but I think the characters look a dust mite too similar
  4. That looks awesome...the characters are Pixar style...sweet expressions! awesome squash/stretch. Great lighting! creative punchline. I have many compliments. You rock
  5. When you're done, be sure to post up some shots of your facial rig
  6. that looks fabulous, except the top of the lip has so much shadow that it looks like a mustache. Either: A. bring lip in B. always have a light above the marshmallow to solve the prob
  7. I think Zach explained all! other than those, it was pretty good...I suggest the music be increased in sound, because it was pretty soft..I know people can turn up the sound, but you want it to be loud enough at average level, so that people don't get mad if they're doing something else and suddenly if something involves a sound, it's really loud
  8. lol it reminds me of an old arcade game like what Malaclypse said, but anyways, that looks great! you do many of these types of short particle stuff and in the end everybody will come crying to you and ask for help on particles
  9. It ended pretty well! But for future models, I suggestion a couple of things: *use rotoscopes (draw front/side view by hand, scan and import into A:M) *It seems the body isn't very smooth, so I suggest that you use the extrude tool from the neck or delete some spline rings (same goes for face) *that's it
  10. if you adjust the lighting on the grasshopper a bit darker to match in with the shadows, it'd almost look real!
  11. ok...after watching the tute. vid I figured it out, except if you look closely, there is some slipping..or there is at least in my mind..maybe it's imagination? Walkslip.zip
  12. That's nice! I'd buy the material just to brag about it
  13. Ok...guess it's an intermission for your show
  14. Hey William! When will you show us some more? I've been inspired by you
  15. Cool! when you're done rigging, you should make him do the rap acttions to music in an animation
  16. That's cool..the head reminds me of the robot thing in Flubber... I have a critique about your opening sequence..your first shot is too long..I know there is constant movement, but it still is a bit too long..what I would do is have about 30 seconds of that and then the camera starts to pan to the side and performs a dolly
  17. That was cool! Happy New Year! What program did you use to edit?
  18. What I do is lathe a sphere the size of the eye, delete splines pole to pole, extrude the actual sphere, flip it 90 degrees on the Z axis and there you go
  19. hmmmI think that the mouths should be the opening at the top of the pants..when it talks, it bends over its "head" 90 degress and the pant opening talks!
  20. When you first started these materials it must've taken a lot of work to find out all the properties
  21. How the!!
  22. Fabulous materials! created in A:M or maps?
  23. The mouth is just like the ones on the Simpsons! lol. This guy would be very fun to make expressions with! if you add teeth/tongue it will be **dope!** lol
  24. I can never get stride length right! I tried changing cycle length and everything...I can get the pill to go slowly across the path, but the feet cycle extremely fast like the flash...I have a feeling it has to do with the stride length...
  25. You mean bend the front..I thought I forgot something, now I know what they are: *Stride length *Bending
