  1. animation is great! perfect expression and smooth
  2. For anyone, interested, here's the metal material metal.mat
  3. All in one night! Here's the almost final finger!
  4. Ok guys, here's the finished "finger"...now to texture
  5. I'm 99 percent sure
  6. The forums don't accept .avi movies unless you put it in a zip folder and post that..in any case, I still suggest rendering in .mov..it's easier for a lot more people to view
  7. Hey guys..added a "bracket" to fill in some empty space on the "finger"
  8. Hey guys, here's a "finger" of the big thing that's being controlled by the control (I'll be adding much more detail as time progresses)
  9. Hey guys..this is just part of what I'm creating..it's the control box leading to the ultimate machine which will be a surprise..for now, just critique this...the discs with "no tops" really have tops...the lighting just delays them out...
  10. THAT WOULD BE GREAT FOR A MOVIE POSTER sorry for the caps
  11. I think there should be a vid on how you should chew marshmallows real good before swalling...then you'll choe if you--ugh--aah--danget---shoot---Jetpuffed--marshmallows--down throat-- Aahh.
  12. THAT LIGHTING WAS NICE! Now for the animation..I suggest moving the eyes a bit..it looked like he was waking up blind I'll watch it again for other critiques if there are some
  13. It looks like those wrinkles were made with Cp's..I think those would be best off with bump/displacement maps because you can get the wrinkles EXACTLY how you want them
  14. Your run is a bit robotic...there should be some bend in his body when running...or at least bend the knees..it'd be a pain to run without bending your legs...other than that, it's great P.S. how'd you create the bullet-time effect
  15. We wanna see animations!!
  16. I think it's working out fine..your hair position is just kinda whacko it looks like he just stood in front of a leaf blower...I'd say lower the hair and pull the "strands" more outwards
  17. Ear pretty much looks fine, except that you should make it pop forward..you'll notice that in front view of Vegeta you can see almost his full ear. For the hair, because of the style, you could just model it by hand using large patches of CP's
  18. What type are you trying to attach (eg. animation or image)
  19. You'll still be able to tell who it is by the facial structure..it'll be fine..just make sure the ear is HUGE
  20. Use Colin F's. method by lathing the profile of an ear, then use magnet mode to touch it up (you'll have to because it'll be perfectly round after lathing). Here's what I'd do: Examine the basic shape of the ear..first of all the top is really long and the lobe is huge...so I suggest after lathing you scale on the Z axis larger and pull the top of the ear out with magnet mode, then shape the lobe..something like that
  21. I truthfully don't see anything wrong with the forehead so far..I think it's too early to tell if anything will be bumpy
  22. Now the head looks a bit too big. Sorry for the critique
  23. Looks great..you're time on modeling is very fast...that ear will be fun to do lol
  24. It looks sweet! To do the forehead, just get an even line at the start above the brows, then extrude, rotate, extrude, rotate, then make an ear, position, make side of head and stitch into ear reference: Cooper Head tuturial (though I've never done anything with it..just read it a heck of a lot of times)
  25. Looks pretty good so far...not rough..no crease..good amount of splines
