  1. Very cool. His left thigh is showing abit of creasing I notice. Nine hours!?! Lucky it's not an animation. Edit: Wow. Take a look how many times Fab's project has been downloaded!

    More jiggle!
  3. Better pecs....his back looks very square though. Regarding the hair, maybe it's your AM version? There was a problem with that aspect with a previous one.

Show that off somewhere outside AM circles and the Poser crowd will come flocking. Great work.
  5. That's a pity. But it is a seven year old OS. That's light years in computing terms. You might get a cheap Windows2000 version on ebay if you're stuck.
  6. I hate to say, but I just made a pose with no problems. Try getting the latest version. Or failing that, you might import the model into a new model structure and it might "make it work". On a side note, you have way too many splines in that model.
  7. Aha. I see the screw came in handy. That's a great render. As far as a crit goes, I'd probably say the wood is too saturated busy looking. (Did you render it as an EXR? ) It seems to take you're eye off the cars. I love the boxes too....especially the raised creases in them. Are they modelled into the box mesh? Also, for a bit of variety, you could change the colour of one of the cars.
  8. I saw this in AM:Stills and it reminded me of this project: http://www.hash.com/stills/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=-131
  9. Some of his parts look familiar. I agree with the above plus, his new head should be abit bigger than the one on him. I think a hunchback would be perfect to stop him toppling backwards on those legs too. Also, some definition on his belly would be cool....even if it's a beer belly. Texture I assume is rough. Seems too proceedural as it is. Good start though. Of course, I know you're a good enough artist not to be discouraged by the path toward the finished piece. Oh...also the bottom bit of his legs seem too long. When he raises them, they'll stick out past his knees. I'd also like to see more definition in the back of the hooves. I think real hooves have a sort of indent at the back of them (the gap in the horse shoe bit). Also, some bumps on his skin.
  10. Nice an'matin. Might it be better speeded up? Not sure.
  11. Wow! It's looking great already. A bit of colour seems to be the finishing touch. Good work.
  12. Very nice character. Looking forward to more from him.
  13. Very well produced. I particularly liked the modeling.
  14. I would advise starting with just one street. Once that goal is reached, then you'll be encouraged and you'll also have things to use in other streets like bins, lights etc. Cars and people could be moved to whatever street is being used. They whole city doesn't need them. Also, more than a few streets would be big enough. Just make sure there is plenty of variety. From these elements, more streets can be made up to peoples liking.
  15. I really hope this gets off the ground. Are you going for the photo-realistic look like those used in Spiderman?
  16. Looks great on the whole. It's a shame about that strange 5 point patch at the top. I'm pretty sure I've seen a screw before without that. Can't remember how it was done though.
  17. The background looks great. Is that using the same image as the foreground? Please report any problems to AM:Reports!
  18. Man, Micky looks pissed. There's going to be a fight to the death in that arena. Your work has really progressed. Keep it up.
  19. No updates for a while....how's it coming on? I assume you're working away at it.
  20. I think the first is best.
  21. I'd advise you to try eliminate things to see what's causing it. Try substituting the sub with a sphere and see what happens. If it's still bad, try deleting the movie decal of the water and see if that resolves it. Once you narrow it down, you can send a simple version to AM:Reports.
  22. What exactly isn't rendering? It looks like there's a ground plane in there or something. A bit more juicy details please.
  23. That looks outstanding. I think Marks rendering tips will push it to the limits. I seem to remember you saying you didn't have many reference images for the car....you should do a google search on it, if you haven't already. Oh and no matter how much you love AM, it should always come second to the wife/partner!
  24. Nice work around.
  25. Showing great potential. I'd also be interested to hear how you made the cube.
