  1. Yes you can use any image as a rotoscope and have one for the front and side view for example.. I captured your question traced around it with a few patches then used it as a decal and pasted it on the side of the model I made the added some hair pieces and rendered the small animation quest.mov

  6. If you have ever watched slow motion water drops the tail end has a long spout of water that then collapses and a large drop falls to the water. I was playing with the idea and using blobbies to form the drop at the end but the results need a lot of tweaking as you can see from this post. I only colored the blobbies so I could see what looked right or wrong. Mostly wrong blobt_1.mov

Charlie the view is important for setting the shape or object to duplicate the 0,0,0 point is the center of the path the shape will follow but you can built a path in any view then name it and choose it in the chor as shown in the video and sweeper will follow it. Or will wind around it if you play with the angles and make a shape off center John Clonewar why not uninstall and reinstall ...maybe you have a bad installation.

  17. A quick reply either in an pose,action, or the chor vary one of the material settings. It can be as basic as the scale or the color or another setting. Some results are useful and some ...well they don't get posted. "Tinker", remember you can't break anything.

  21. Ther is no magic way to make a character not pass through another model if you are refering to normal animating. That is up to the animator to control. For special situation as in simcloth you have to add the material and set it to be cloth or a defector to stop the cloth from breaking through.

A lot of what I had posted disappeared when the free site I had disappeared earlier this year ..I have not had time to get something together to post what I had ..actually have ...one of these days and maybe the next dvd. I suggest you search the forum also there are many examples posted here.
