Not really much just threw some QT's in my V13 folder together and put them on youtube
I could probably make it longer and better but this was a test
edit: because Paul and Nancy asked I added music
or go look at others http://www.youtube.com/TinkGnome
if you go here I am not sure why the guitar movie is shown
I have 13t on my machine
It seems to work fine with a qt ...did you check to see if the frame is changing under the image part of the decal in the chor...if that is the question-misbehaving
decaltest.mov
This should be at 100% for thewhole sequence the model is on the path. Peolple forget and usually set constraint at end or at least not at the beginning
Hope this helps
Also the ease is set to 0 at the beginning and 100 and the emd this in automatic but can be adjusted
Off the top of my head
did you constrain him to the path at the beginning of the jump sequence check to see if the enforcement on the constraint is zero until he is done jumping and so he doesn't follow the path until the last frame of the jump
Okay I was in photoshop and decide to play with a few filters and got some interesting results that I saved.
Now tonight I decide to add them to a couple of spheres and put them into an small animation.

Not sure what else to do with the "decals" so here they are with the project file v15alpha (testing it for volumetrics)
decal.zip
You could after you scanned them in as a numbered sequence imported that sequence and convert it to a quicktime or whatever but there are other programs that would do that also.
Here is an quick sample of ways to texture
left to right
simple AM material scale and cell turb plated
simbiot darktree material ...dinoskin
or decal in this case same one applied twice once for color and once for slight displacement
This is a visual tutorial
Red ball with simple black and white decal
Key color not set both colors show.
Key color set to black, black portion does not show
Key Color set to white, white color does not show
This was done in v14a
keycolor.mov
Here is a project where the first chor was used to generate a series of tgas ...(should have done 60 frames)
The second chor uses those images as sprites which are animated...(but just for the second half because I only animated 30 frames)
I had to specify the angle tp have the sprites drop correctly
This is a little rough and had one sprite pop out in the back but you get the idea
sprited.mov
sprited.zip
if you think of the particle (sprite) as a picture you can rotate it say around the center of the picture is that what you mean ?... if you want a particle to flip like a playing card you have to have a animated particle.
Here is what I mean
flip.mov
On the left by adjusting the angle I got the arrow particle to spin facing us the one on the right which is a tga sequence I made spins both ways
Yes the cd must be in to start the p[rogram and can be removed after that...this is the copy protection
you can download the latest version for 2007 ..14a and the newest alpha for next year 15 here
