  1. Hi Rich That sounds like a good idea. Having a set to work with would be great. I wish would could have more sets, space scene, landscapes, indoor sets to name a few. Mark
  2. It could be the fact that you can't see the legs below the knees, throwing off the proportions.
  3. looks great so far Sharky. I do have a few suggestions. Adding a moulding to the corners of the building, like the window and door, to break up the textures. And lightening the trim color of the roof to match the faded look of the shingles. Keep up the good work.
  4. I mean in the height (chest to hips) not to the side. Didn't really notice the split down the center.
  5. Nice tree. The animation looks good too. Did you animate it in an action or choreography? If you did it in the choreography, animated it in an action so you can set it to repeat it in the choreography.
  6. Looks good so far, but the mid-section looks abit stretched out.
  7. How are you achieving your volumetrics? It looks as though you used a mesh to emit mist/dust. Try using a series of klieg lights with volumetrics turned on in its properties. Adjusting the falloff and intensity of the light to get the look you want. p.s. Nice set.
  8. I like the frog. Looking forward to seeing how your distortion boxes work out.
  9. Sorry I'm later with this, been working on the 2005 cd project. How about a 4 patch tree. good for background. I have another idea I'll try later.
  10. Greg here's a pic of the pine. I can render with an alpha and you could use it as a decal.
  11. Can you post the images that was in the sprite emitter? And what camera background color did you have set when you rendered in A:M?
  12. Is the background color of both sprite images used in the emitter the same color?
  13. If you want it indented, set the percentage to -300%.
  14. Here's a test I did using an animated material to drive hair color.
  15. Cool bug. I don't thing you should need too much smartskin on it. The wings should flap flat, no need for smartskin and the legs are skinny enough that you probably won't notice.
  16. Add a light and it would look like a spinning lamp shade. If you use Emilio's set bias plug-in you can get a cooler lamp shade. Keep on experimenting.
  17. To add to everyone else's comments, making the camera roll as it is going through the loops would look better. Thom disappears as though you went into a first person view and if that is the case Thom would be on his head at the top of the loop. Seeing the ground plane roll up to the top of the screen as though he's upside down would look cool. Great job so far. Keep at it.
  18. Thanks William. I may have to upgrade early too. I can just imagine the orcs climbing down the columns. Looking forward to seeing the final scene.

    KONG!

Great model William. When can we see him textured?
  20. Ah it's Pierre the poodle. I think the fur needs a little kinkiness added to it with a little more stiffness to make it puffier. And a french style mustache for whiskers. Other than that he looks goods.
  21. Nevermind. I was just copying the underlined part. Got it working. Cool.
  22. Hi John. I'm having trouble viewing the clip. I've copy/paste into browser and I get a 404 not found. I wanted to see how it moved. Cool model.
  23. That was great Dale.
  24. Cool bridge John. I've been playing with the new plug-in.
  25. Here's the link to the tut. http://www.zandoria.com/uv.htm
