Very cool stuff . it comes together very nicly and is very well suited for the music . see u *Fuchur*

Windows 9 does not seem to be too troublesome... it is close to Windows 7 since Windows 8 was not accepted very well and Microsoft had to go back to were it started. And Windows 8 was mostly a media flop, not a real useability problem.

Because he is using the greek version of Windows and that warning is given by windows. Nothing to worry about there... (it is in german for me, for instance...). It should be the typical "Program not responding"-stuff, right? If you always have the problem at the same frame, you may want to leave that frame out or you may want to change something in your scene a little bit to see if it works after that. See you *Fuchur*

very likely a simple mask with a blury edge in after effects where they use either a multiply effect or two layers above each other blending one out and the other in with the mask. see you *fuchur*

If you change Graphiccard manufacturer (without formating your hard drive) you may need to use a driver eraser first for Nvidia drivers. At least it has been that way two years ago. Otherwise the Nvidia driver will interfere with the new Catalyst driver on the system. Maybe that is the problem. See you *Fuchur*

i am not sure if wax is possible but pva is possible. that is a water resolvable plastic. wax is not very likely since you need a heated builtplate for pva and wax would very likely melt at that. i will try to updated it so i can print pla too which would eliminate the need for the heated plate... i will have to test that.

It really depends what you want to do... if you need specific sizes and precise measurements of single parts of your model it is better to use the scaling of the model file than anything else. (just to mention it: In my experience with Netfab and my Makerbot Replicator 2, A:M/the exporter scales things "wrong" by the factor of 10. If you are working in cm, just assume the unit shown is millimeters and it should work out quite well... however there are more things to be aware of like shrinking rate when using FDM-machines, etc. I am not sure if powderbased prints are affected by that. I assume not or not that much.) I have never used print-shops like shapeways (much more known here than Sculpteo... but the tests you did there with sculpteo look cool too)... The next thing for me is to test out my new printer I just bought form ebay. It is a Makerbot 2x, which should give me better possibilities with overhangs, since it has two print heads... Still it is of course not printing in color like your first model shown here... that is something only very expensive printers can do...

Really great . See you *Fuchur*

Are you rendering to file / final or progressive? In my experience, SSS only works if you render to file and will otherwise result in black rendering groups (the whole group just plain black). See you *Fuchur*

Thanks guys – good to hear that you like it .

Hi Mark, I made a new subpage at Gallery called "Hall of Fame" which should suit your needs : http://www.hash.com/am-films-hall-of-fame-36-en Hope you like it See you *Fuchur*

You are talking about something like this, right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guZeAjdYw_c I find that very cool .

Funny and clever but no – every child in the Kindergarden would pick on us ... I just would not change the used and known name... changing the logo and the name at the same time? Very dangerous marketing vise...
-
i would leave it because of animation mentor (short: am) and simply because "a:m" is more recognicable than "am"... and of course it is just the name of it since many many relevant versions. see u *fuchur*

I have played myself a little too but to give it a more common look I have to go far away from the current logo (something like 7-9, maybe 11) ... there are some that I like more than the one we have now but I am not sure if we are not loosing too many people with these rough tries of mine... (again: I am not a designer...) I am quite sure there are more than just one person who think like Keith... it is part of A:M to be a little different... it is what A:M is all about and surely one reason why people like it. See you *Fuchur* PS: These should only demonstrate my tries and worksteps I tried... not all of them should be considered as real examples... and of course none of these or the once above have anything to do with official Hash decission at all)

can you adjust the infill levels on those models somewhere? in makerware and replicatorg u just say prnt with 10% infill and the weight decreases significantly... actually many models can be printed without infills =0%... printing it solid would consume very much filament and take much longer without an advantages
-
or you just close it in am. does not matter much...
-
Okay, good to know, but you really have great competition there : http://youtu.be/hByVRQfWuLE?list=PL4LmRr7ibLp-Q1705QW5Su_MnDOCi64TP These are some of the great animations done with A:M I could find till now... See you *Fuchur*

Hi Mark... I think you are right about that but i will have to see if we can get good enough quality of the high levwl animations available... animators aprentice, killerbean 2, alien song, duell, tak and the power of juju, briar rose, sunny side of the street, chicory and coffee and a few more like these are absolutely worth showing, but we need them in at least good sd quality (better 720 or 1080p) and i could not find those qualities on youtube or any other big platform (which is a real shame... those are some of the best work done by small studio or individuells i have seen.... if someone finds some of them on please let me know... see you *fuchur*

exactly what i thought here. > system function.
-
I am not sure... if it would be a plugin, it would be possible, but I'd say it should be a system function which is very likely not publicly available. We will see.

I'll say it again: Netfab! that is made for correcting stl files for 3d printing works great, tell you about problems has automatic correction possibilties and is free. it is much better to get rid of the problems with the stl files in the software you did the model in since otherwise after slightly redesigning something you will need to redo the corrections too. see you *fuchur*

I think it was Steffen with some help of the Soulcage Department... See you *Fuchur*

Hi Walter, I think you will get the hang of it very fast again... there have been changes, but most things are still the same as before . See you *Fuchur*
-
I think this should not be very hard to implement, simply because A:M knows which spline has which CPs and should be able to see the splines the CP belongs to... It is very hard to see which it should belong to (guess which one is the right one) but since you ask for just a switcher, that should be possible. (I'll ask Steffen about it...) BUT since you change patches there, you will very likely loose UV-data at that part... (since after switching the flow / continuity there, it will create other patches not available before...) See you *Fuchur*
