  1. Follow. But! Follow only if ye be men of valour, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived! Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth. Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer! He's got huge, sharp-- eh-- he can leap about-- look at the bones!
  2. The second render should be titled "The Death of Disco".
  3. Nice shot. Is there a WF to go along with this?
  4. You should to one with a yellow roof, green mirrors and a big hippie flower on the hood.
  5. I would think that it would be best to do wheel tread as a bump map since it can be so detail oriented and most people aren't going to be scrutinizing it that closely.
  6. From what I can see it looks OK. It's hard to tell becauese it's so dark and the bottle spins so fast. One thing I did notice, (this is more of a real world physics isue) the bottle is spinning counterclockwise and it looks like the cap is spinning in teh same direction yet the cap unscews from the bottle. If this were the real world either the bottle would spin clockwise and the cap would remain still or the bottle would spin clockwise and the cap would spin counter. If you post it as a QT movie we can look at it frame by frame to give you a better critique.
  7. Intresting, so it's not a unibody. I just assumed tht the fenders were attatched to the frame, to the doors, etc.
  8. Hey Stian, Forgive my ignorance but since I'm not familiar with it do you have any other refrence images of this car. I would just like to see how the original looks.
  9. It's good to see the simplicity of your spline layout. I think a lot of us (myself inlcuded) have a tendency to use way too many CPs and splines to achieve what we're loooking for. I think it's just a matter of learning how to manipulate a few amount of splines to get teh same effect. Nice job Colin, as usual. So did you model the interior too, made a nice CD or DVD player?
  10. Wow, I thought it was just a nice little cleaver animation. I didn't realize that it was this deep social commentary. Wasn't it Sigmund Freud who said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar"? I need to go lie down now, my head hurts.
  11. Can you pleale post it as something other than a BMP files? Perhaps a JPG, that way you shouldn't have to compress it.
  12. BTW, we don't want movies with good taste, we want movies that taste good.
  13. Maybe have her blink a couple of times or roll her eyes in ecstacy.
  14. Very nice and cleaver. How did you achieve the paint brush effect on the lettering. That's very, very nice.
  15. I like the background colors you got. Is a material pasted onto a scrim or what?
  16. Naxt time maybe you'll want to take the picture and do the lines in PS or something so your mom doesn't think you're too weird.
  17. Agreed. Personally, I wish everyone would post their items in QT. I'm just ired of loading up my machine with all these stupid plugins.
  18. With all respect, it's so dark all I can see is the 3 colors. Is that the way it's supposed to be?
  19. Maybe they got pulled off by that bird at the end of the movie.
  20. I think that this goes this would go perfectly with this model.
  21. This is very cool so far. Perfect timing since Steven Speilberg's War of the Worlds is coming out later this year.
  22. Can you give a synopsis of what happened, who was there, etc? Hopefully is you have the next on in Chatt I can try ot make it there.
