  1. If you make the eyes even more sqinty it'll look just like Renée Zellweger.
  2. Maybe he was drinking a lot of root beer while animating this.
  3. I couldn't open them. It says that they are a formet that QT does not understand.
  4. Lucky! You ever take that over some sweet jumps?
  5. Man, that chick is hot. * Sorry, I couldn't help myself *
  6. Make him: Eat some healthy fruit Cut back on his cholesterol. Brush his teeth Sweep the floor Think about pies Choose not to live in regret from his decisions of the past. Learn how to skydive. Learn the cello Grow up to be his own man. Long for something better in life.
  7. Here's a good tut for that http://www.circusmedia.net/5PointPatch/tutorial.html
  8. To quote Paris Hilton*, "Mmmm, that's hot." *For the record I think that Paris Hilton is a talentless, non-appealing hack (her appearance on SNL last night was evidence of that) that is not only an embarrassment to this country but pop culture in general and is only popular because she has money.
  9. I love the purple moon - very creepy looking.
  10. Be careful, this is the stuff that will get you booted off the forum. Nice job on the head model. It kind of looks like my mom so it's kind of creaping my out and I'm having some issues with it at the moment. I think I need to call my counselor.
  11. Disturbing is the first word that comes to mind...
  12. Wow, you got ya some splines there, eh? Keep it up on the whole body and I can only imagine what your render times will be like.
  13. I don't like the way its's looking at me. BTW, It's nice to see someone else in the Middle TN area for once.
  14. Sweet model, love the style. Is this a dark jedi or just a very intense light jedi?
  15. Nice for the most part, what I can see. It's actually, really dark so it's hard to make out. Also, with all respect, the whole bullet time thing is so 1999.
  16. Perhaps a story about how scared he was to go to KG because he'd heard aweful things but when he got there it wasn't too bad. I will get a cut because of my idea submission, right? Other story ideas could be: Paste: the perfect snack Your wedgie and you What's under that skirt? Got a feelin' down below, just feel free and let it go How to pretend sleep during nap time Sandbox in my underwear Anyone else?
  17. From the side view it looks like he's got a pretty bad overbite, perhaps TMJ.
  18. I loved this clip Shaun, very creative. I thought it was much better than the one they selected.
  19. I have to agree with Nancy on this one. Just a little too squarish on the end. Have you experimented with using a hair emitter for the bristles? How did you do the drip of paint? Is that hand modeled or a blobby? Another thing to consider that would make the scene more believable is the effects of gravity. What I mean by that is, the brush that is leaning up against the paint can should have a bit of a bend in it where the bristles meet the ground. Right now it's just too ridged looking. Plus if you look at the brush's reflection on the can I think it's actually floating above the ground slightly. Make sure you check your shot from teh side views to prevent this from happening. One more thing, this is more of a composition issue. I would turn the main can in relation to the camera. Right now it's looking almost head on and you're losing some of the depth of the shot because of it. Hopefully these two images will give you an idea of what I'm talking about (please forgive me, I whipped them out in about 10 seconds). All in all, it's a great shot. I especially like the lighting. Very artistic.
  20. She looks like a combination of of Julianne Moore and Michelle Pfeiffer. You should give her Gene Shalit or Andy Rooney eyebrows. http://radicalmedia.radicalmedia.com/today...ages/shalit.gif http://wwwimage.cbsnews.com/images/2002/02...mage502003x.jpg
  21. So last night I went to bed OK with the way this was turning out but not crazy about it. So this morning after rethinking the character and actually seeing what a Toucan should look like I came up with this. I think I'm much happier with the way this is going toward my original vision. I've still got to work on the mashed potatoes in his neck but ifeel like Im imn a much better direction. BTW, I think if A:M had some sort of autosave feature the amount of cursing I do would be greatly reduced.
  22. A little further along now. I haven't stitched the head to the body because I'm still figuring out the arm/hand and leg/foot design. Honestly, I was hoping for something more cartoony looking than it's turing out but maybe I can tweek it a bit as things progress. If nothing else it's great practice.
  23. HAHAHAHAH I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself. I'll post another pic in a bit that will hold another clue.
