  1. Maps have no precedence except in one circumstance: maps of the same type overwrite each other (except Color maps use Alpha). For example, Color can go down first, or Bump, or Specular, etc.
  2. Off to read script... Yeah, I love a good story.
  3. It looks great, Mike... But it looked great a couple revs ago - I'm afraid you've exceeded my ability to make sophisticated distinctions. Now, my appetite is whetted to see the rest of the story. What happened to his "people" already?
  4. I like the whole design of that poster... It's incredibly well done. Is it something you came up with or do other "Death Trap" posters incorporate those design elements? (I tend to believe it's original to you.) How many people watch these plays? Or see the poster? Is it 1000s? (Is the poster better than the play?) I'd expect to see a poster of that quality at the movie theater. Very nice indeed.
  5. You'd think they'd fix that trampoline if their civilization is so advanced?
  6. I had no trouble determining that the storyboard was NOT the final product. My mom might not know though. However, my mom isn't visiting your site.
  7. Big smile on my face... Congratulations.
  8. We're talking about Matt, Ken and Kel, here. They are "old-timers."
  9. Don't you people ever hold down the or keys while you're manipulating through the camera's POV?
  10. Matt, your avatar has gotten extremely cute... Do you have a new model at home? (And I ain't talking 3D.)
  11. The change is subtle but worth it. Cute character.
  12. Steve, we've been putting together Lesson Plans for teaching animation in schools - not computers - animation. (However, computers do play a huge roll, in that Middle Schoolers, and even High Schoolers, couldn't possibly master the draftsmanship required for hand-drawn animation.) As part of the students' training, it would be awesome to include this face rig along with FACE, and some slider driven facial animation techniques, to give them a feel for what works best where. I'm just talking here; I haven't really thought it through but I wanted you to know that I think this technique has tremendous value, and may get integrated into 1000s of schools across the U.S.
  13. Before you ask anymore questions, I want to see your TaoA:M exercises. You have a responsibility to at least have half a clue before you ask other people to help you.
  14. Six months?! I want to know now.
  15. That there is a VERY bad example of modeling in A:M. How could a spline possibly know how to terminate into a junction like that? Only polygonal modeling techniques that jury-rig the normals, or shrink the surface with subdivision could possibly work in the case exhibited. And there is no accounting for animation of the toes. Does that terminated line simply stretch? Never use polygon examples as a way to model in A:M.
  16. This forum is for owners of the current 2007 subscription of Animation:Master. Old problems with old versions are just cluttering up the traffic. If you want help - please help us help you by keeping current. I know you're poor but I'm writing this while living in a trash bin near a nuclear waste disposal site. I can hardly type because my fingers are arthritic and need medical attention which I can't afford.
