  1. Happy Birthday, Gerald!
  2. Hope you have a speedy recovery, Steffen!
  3. Do not really get it... isnt that a Disney movie (and of course a comic book)? I quite liked it, (but I did not read the comics before or knew about the story, so fo a fan it may be different)-... See you *Fuchur* It was originally a series of books written by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
  4. Moogly, by itself- is not so great... it's when it is mixed with Googly that it becomes extra-ordinary. But on a more 'serious' note, Rob's collection is quite an asset to A:M... something I would be 'pushing' if I was the guy wondering how to sell more subscriptions. However, I tried loading one at random (Beak Modeling) and the connection timed-out... Hmmm, I was able to open every beak tutorial on my end. I used Comodo Dragon, Firefox, Comodo Ice Dragon and Internet Explorer browsers...not sure about other browsers.
  5. Happy Birthday, John!
  6. Good luck with the move, Kat!
  7. Happy Birthday, Paul!
  8. Adding to Robert's list: Stop Staring: Facial Modeling and Animation Done Right Someone else could probably recommend a good character design book...I've read several and have learned things from each, but I can't call them "must have".
  9. Happy Birthday, Martin!
  10. Happy Birthday, Willi!
  11. The controls remind me of Steve's Head Gizmo, but the FACE Rig in the Squetch Rig would be able to do most of that. What it doesn't do could be added without much problem...mostly some muscle deformation and percentages of bump or displacement maps. When I can get some time, I'll be getting back to the Squetch Rig so I can finish the tutorials (the tutorials will have to wait until I can get a better laptop) and maybe get a better example character rigged. This made me think of Chris Jones' work.
  12. Glad to hear it David. I had to look back through your posts to fully recall just how long it'd been since the flood. It must feel good to be back home after all that time. It's been about seven months, so I'm very happy to be back home. I still have a lot of catching up on bills, but I've gotten one problem behind me. I'm not sure if I'll get it to the level I would like, but I should have something to submit.
  13. It's been a very hectic couple of weeks, but we are now back in our house. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some work done on my image contest entry over the next couple of weeks.
  14. Their forum is here...says it is a GPU renderer.
  15. It worked for me...here's the project. Rodney.prj
  16. Since the deadline for the image contest has been extended, I'm going to keep working on one of the two images I was in the process of modeling. If I'm lucky, I'll have something worth submitting.
  17. Looks like something you'd see under a microscope. Very cool, John!
  18. Happy you're getting better, Gene!
  19. Happy Birthday, Jeff!
  20. I didn't get my entry finished. If the deadline is extended, I may have time to get it done (depending on the length of the extension).
  21. Happy Birthday, Yves!
  22. Looks great, John!
