  1. Great stuff, Tore!
  2. Great stuff, Jeff!
  3. Looks fantastic so far, Ludo!
  4. Gerald has tutorials here: http://www.patchwork3d.de/html/page.php?page_id=63 http://www.patchwork3d.de/html/page.php?page_id=64
  5. In "Tools/Options/Rendering" select a "Quality" of "Shaded & Wireframe", then scroll down and turn on "Show Decals". Hope that helps.
  6. Maybe it's a browser issue...it works for me in Comodo Dragon and Firefox, but didn't work in Internet Explorer.
  7. Go to the Properties of the model in the PWS and set the Pose to "0" (instead of "not set"). It should work after that. Hope that helps.
  8. I took a quick look at my entry and, of course, I found something that needed to be tweaked. I sent an updated version...hopefully, Jason switches to the updated version for my entry.
  9. By the way, what's the point of viewing 3D content that isn't a game, a rendering or a video? Architectural walk-through? Being able to render a scene from a favorite animation from a different angle? Learning body mechanics by viewing an animation from all angles? I'm sure there are a lot of possible uses.
  10. I'm looking at this competition as a way to improve, so just getting something finished is a win (this is the first competition I've entered on these forums). I don't think I'll win anything, but I've learned a few things that I might not have otherwise. Once the judging is finished, I'll have at least one question to post to the community...I was probably just doing something stupid. Good luck, Rodney!
  11. I sent in my entry last night. It's not as good as I would like, but I had to stop or I wouldn't have made the deadline. Good luck to everyone entering!
  12. Still working on my entry. I rendered a safety version in case I cut it too close to the deadline. I'll probably eventually have to declare it "passable" and live with the results.
  13. I tried making it a TGA and also tried using a color for the transparency...neither worked.
  14. What image format should the submission be? PNG, JPG, TGA, etc?
  15. Great stuff, John!
  16. I thought I might be able to get two images done for the Sci-Fi contest, but it looks like it will be just one. I'm still not sure if I will be able to get it to the level I would like though.
  17. Happy Birthday, Gerald!
  18. Hope you have a speedy recovery, Steffen!
  19. Do not really get it... isnt that a Disney movie (and of course a comic book)? I quite liked it, (but I did not read the comics before or knew about the story, so fo a fan it may be different)-... See you *Fuchur* It was originally a series of books written by Edgar Rice Burroughs.
  20. Moogly, by itself- is not so great... it's when it is mixed with Googly that it becomes extra-ordinary. But on a more 'serious' note, Rob's collection is quite an asset to A:M... something I would be 'pushing' if I was the guy wondering how to sell more subscriptions. However, I tried loading one at random (Beak Modeling) and the connection timed-out... Hmmm, I was able to open every beak tutorial on my end. I used Comodo Dragon, Firefox, Comodo Ice Dragon and Internet Explorer browsers...not sure about other browsers.
  21. Happy Birthday, John!
