Hey you're branching out! The music kind of reminds me of what Chicago would have sounded like if they had been a metal band. It almost sounds like they are playing "25 or 6 to 4".

I liked the video.. B)

 

But something got me thinking if you can find something to control the action of the speakers so the speakers sync with the music. It would look much better. Also if you find a way you can control other elements of the video.

 

Just a thought. :)

Thanks everyone!

The idea I have is.....as the video continues I will add more and more speakers and piles of instruments into a sort of mountain,

and under constant attack from f16's, apaches, hummers, Tanks...etc.

so anyone with some cool explosion effects or the like I be glad to listen :)

good observation. I actually have them rigged to do just that. Explosions timed in as well.

This was a quick test rendering to see how it basically looked.

I just started today on polishing it and making some proper renders,

okay so get some sprites or sprite that you like load AM's explosion material and substitute the new sprites for the ones in the material and or adjust sizes color

 

quick example

 

 

newexp.mov

 

 

sub this for 2 of the 4 sprites I use the original smoke and galaxy but put them in in another spot

 

alphanew1.tga

 

for you music video use some note sprites

for some odd reason that original AM explosion material is crashing my program after about 8 frames.

It's a war video......explosions are required.

I am not familiar with "original AM explosion material" - but if it is a particle system - perhaps you have too high an emission rate and/or life expectancy set? Try turning it way down to experiment to see if that helps, then ramp it back up until it crashes again.

The star explosion project in AM is a very useful effect

I am going to try to have it spew out of the center of the regular explosion if my puter can handle it.
