Gerry Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I shot this starting yesterday and continuing overnight, and finishing up about noon thirty today. Making the movie was way more fun than shoveling the car out. Quote
NancyGormezano Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Fun! but..but..where is the time lapse of you shoveling? Was the street cleared just from the traffic going by, or did snow plows come thru? Quote
MJL Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Fun! but..but..where is the time lapse of you shoveling? I saw somebody shoveling. . . . . . but you had to look quick. Quote
Paul Forwood Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Beautiful... especially when the sun came out! Quote
NancyGormezano Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 I saw somebody shoveling. . . . . . but you had to look quick. Ah yes, at the very end...Was that you Gerry, making a getaway, off to the coal/salt mines, driving 20 miles barefoot to school, for a loaf of ciabatta, and double mochiatto with non-fat soy, hold the cinnamon? It's not raining today here. heh heh. (I use to live in Buffalo, NY, 30ish years ago...I am just now being able to laugh once again whenever I see b-buh-bluh-lizzz-ards) Quote
Gerry Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Didn't mean to traumatize you Nancy! Yes, I'm sure plows were coming through periodically, the streets around here don't clear themselves (although for the taxes we pay, you'd think...) Quote
Walter Baker Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 Way cool, I agree with paul when the sun came out what cool shadows. Quote
Gerry Posted December 27, 2010 Author Posted December 27, 2010 Wish I could have let it run another 24 hours to see everyone shoveling, moving cars etc. I just ordered an ac power adapter for the camera so I don't have to keep swapping out the batteries! A major drag! Quote
HomeSlice Posted December 27, 2010 Posted December 27, 2010 While you're at it, why not order a heater for the camera lens so you don't have to keep wiping the snow off it Quote
Hash Fellow robcat2075 Posted December 28, 2010 Hash Fellow Posted December 28, 2010 Nice time-lapse. I liked watching the crystals grow over the window. Quote
johnl3d Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Nice shorten version of what looks like a mess just like the ones we usually get Quote
fae_alba Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 We missed the full force of this blizzard by about 20 miles...the cutoff of the front was that severe. Bot about 8 inches, but the wind was brutal, gusting over 40 mph at times made for some real cold work clearing the driveway. Of course I grew up in Syracuse, snow belt capital of New York, where 8 inches have been known to fall in a couple of hours, let alone a day. Quote
