Mark asked me if I was interested in rigging his characters faces. Of course I said yes and we worked out a little deal. It gave me a reason to complete the face rig for the 2008 rig I was working on.

I'm actually having fun installing the rig. So far it has been pretty easy to install. On these characters I've only had to translate and scale 1 bone to position the rig.

I'm working on my third character with 2 more to go.

I'll post some animation tests using the modified A:M Track action file I used in the 2008 rig thread.

Here's the first test render of the Story Teller.

This animation uses the A:M Track action file with added movement for the controls in the action, plus overlapping action from the controls in the chor.

Thanks Mark. Hopefully the rig will do the job for you.

Here's the same action using Flemm, slightly modified in the chor using the controls.

Does anyone have any A:M Track action files they would like to share, with sound?

Thanks Ken. Which character are you referring too? Have we see it yet?

Here the Wannabe Vern........ I mean Pirate, Sneeze.

I'm still incorporating the glasses into the rig.

Good test. Looking forward to installing this rig myself. I've got a character waiting.

I have a character waiting for it too.... my entry in the Mascot's Contest...

For while I used simple poses in its face.

Nope. Same as Xtaz.

Ah, I see. I can't promise it's going to be ready, there are things I need to do before I release it.

They look great! Both the face rig possbilities and the characters.

I don't like much doing lipsync, this is going to be of great help.

I look forward to see more!

Thanks guys.

Here's an update to Sneeze. His glasses are fully incorporated into the rig and fully automated with expressions. So, whether it's A:M Track, main controls or the split controls, the glasses will respond accordingly.

Sneeze is looking great, Mark!

It's really re-energizing my batteries to see these face rigs coming out so well!

Thanks Martin.

I asked if anyone was willing to share an A:M Track action file with sound, but noone has posted anything yet. I don't have A:M Track, yet. And I don't do lipsync. ;)

I posted example animations of the preset phoneme poses that come with the facial rig, in the 2008 rig thread. Sneeze is one of the examples.
