  1. I love it Mark. When I was little I ran around saying bullwinkle moose here. I learned to despise Boris. Great job
  2. Robert it rendered in netrender 17. Ok tell me how to make a preset. I feel pretty stupid as I could not get it to save Steve
  3. I was setting a test render with v18a and netrender. Simple spin animation and I trying to set/tell netrender to use plugin shaders. However, there is no selection for the shaders. Has this always been the case or am I missing something. Steve
  4. Well for now her hair is done. may revisit after rigging. Steve
  5. Dan Nancy is right about MuHair. but this past week I have tweak and learned a great deal more than I did before. Some wonderful results can be achieved with MuHair. The main settings are the strength values used. The second was so obvious to me that I overlooked it many times. It is the brightness control inside the Muhair settings. After about giving up on it, I played with this setting to achieve some really nice results. Anyway shoot me a note. Steves@desdyninc.biz Steve
  6. Here is a shot I rendered. I have the eyelashes and eyebrows done and now its off to face rig and makeup Steve
  7. I hope I will be able to pull it off. I have pony tail mesh under the hair. the pony tail has a bone structure and I will try a test later Just finished eyebrows and eye lashes Steve
  8. Got the look I was wanting, finally
  9. Bangs were turned off here is the hair in place.
  10. Modeled loosely after this pic. Here is a lower shot of front. With this I noticed the front bangs are not rendering. So I will have to check my model Steve
  11. All right got Angie's hair in place, loose pony tail. Here are a couple of shots. Steve
  12. Happy Birthday! Steve
  13. Had to start over on Angie's hair but feeling better about it. I was able to get hair through the hair tie. Here her with the pony tail, sides and back completed. I will get on the top and front tonight.
  14. Thanks Rodney Here is the start of Angie's hair Steve
  15. Hi Dan I feel your pain when it comes to hair and the controls. I have read and watched many tuts on hair and I come away with the feeling "I wish I knew more of how to control the hair that I have created". For our coffee shop short I have created static particle hair on the characters. I hope someday to break through the barrier and be able to use the features of AM and feel confident in the results. But for now I am still learning and exploring. Steve
  16. Almost finished with the poodle. Trying to get the hair to conform is tough Steve Here is Jazmine and Angie
  17. Excellent opening Steve
  18. Happy Birthday Steve
  19. David Bertram looks awesome steve
  20. Wonderful Mark Steve
  21. Google the RED cameras for shooting video in this raw format. Think what it is like to edit the video! The power that it will take to process. Steve
  22. I wanted to give one last update before I present her. The MuHair shader has been a challenge to figure out. But with lower settings nice effects can be achieved. I am working on the topknot and grooming it and after that I will be ready for rigging. Steve
  23. Awesome Mark Steve
  24. Wanted to throw this in on hair as well. I really like the hair particle system. There are times when I get frustrated with it and with the lack of knowledge of how to correct issues. Here is food for thought from Animation Mentor Steve
  25. Happy Birthday!!
