  1. Bravo!! Very well done. I loved the part about the glow differences. Netrender I see at the end is causing some issues. Steve
  2. This is great stuff. Would love to see the work flow. Thank you for sharing Steve
  3. Hi Tim Good to see you drop by. Give a call sometime. Steve
  4. I wanted to give a shout out to Dan and the pose he was able to do with his "Disney" inspired character. Quite frankly I did not know if the rig installed in my Disney influenced character could bend in the same way he was able. Here is Laurie in Dan's pose. Steve
  5. Wonderful work as always. Steve
  6. Thanks guys In fact with Chris Dailey's help we have a SVN server off site. So everything we are doing is being backed up. Steve
  7. Laurie's face rig is going in quickly. It is a combination of bones, poses, weighting etc. Steve
  8. Will, very cool shot. I would to see the light settings. Excellent animation Steve
  9. Over the last few weeks I have been busy with hair on the characters. I then looked at how many models I have completed while working on the hair and I have to say there have been several. Anyway I put together the three main ones I have completed hair on. I rendered this shot and found that the poodles hair was messed up in the shot I began to look and the model's hair, in v18a is messed up. What I mean some of the options are gone?? So I will go back to a back up and come forward As for now I am actually rigging Laurie's face again. So I will be posting some facial expressions over the next few days. I have taken some time off this week and plan to have the poses in place. Thanks for looking. Steve
  10. I love it Mark. When I was little I ran around saying bullwinkle moose here. I learned to despise Boris. Great job
  11. Robert it rendered in netrender 17. Ok tell me how to make a preset. I feel pretty stupid as I could not get it to save Steve
  12. I was setting a test render with v18a and netrender. Simple spin animation and I trying to set/tell netrender to use plugin shaders. However, there is no selection for the shaders. Has this always been the case or am I missing something. Steve
  13. Well for now her hair is done. may revisit after rigging. Steve
  14. Dan Nancy is right about MuHair. but this past week I have tweak and learned a great deal more than I did before. Some wonderful results can be achieved with MuHair. The main settings are the strength values used. The second was so obvious to me that I overlooked it many times. It is the brightness control inside the Muhair settings. After about giving up on it, I played with this setting to achieve some really nice results. Anyway shoot me a note. Steves@desdyninc.biz Steve
  15. Here is a shot I rendered. I have the eyelashes and eyebrows done and now its off to face rig and makeup Steve
  16. I hope I will be able to pull it off. I have pony tail mesh under the hair. the pony tail has a bone structure and I will try a test later Just finished eyebrows and eye lashes Steve
  17. Bangs were turned off here is the hair in place.
  18. Modeled loosely after this pic. Here is a lower shot of front. With this I noticed the front bangs are not rendering. So I will have to check my model Steve
  19. All right got Angie's hair in place, loose pony tail. Here are a couple of shots. Steve
  20. Happy Birthday! Steve
  21. Had to start over on Angie's hair but feeling better about it. I was able to get hair through the hair tie. Here her with the pony tail, sides and back completed. I will get on the top and front tonight.
