  1. Here are my two entries in the manual rerouting derby... clip3560ReroutingBadSplineIntersection.mov
  2. What size did you render at?
  3. I salute your early-adopter-ivity! I shall be eager to hear of your experiences with it.
  4. I can tell you why it's not a common request... if you want to know.
  5. That would have to fail, wouldn't it? I don't think there's a way to print something that is infinitely thin.
  6. Show the one with you in it!
  7. My suggestion is to start with one shape that works and add others in until you find one that causes a problem. Then you know where to begin problem solving. Is that clothing really single thickness?
  8. A useful option might a "peak" button that preserves the orientation and magnitude of the bias handles.
  9. What is Spiffy? The links I find don't seem to be relevant to what you are doing.
  10. Shift-clicking when adding a CP will "maintain curvature" in the original spline. I haven't seen a spline environment that can maintain curvature when removing a CP.
  11. I'll note that the A:M "push" plugin can work both inwards and outwards and could be used to build a model with inner thickness.
  12. One problem I notice now is that the waves fade almost to zero but they vanish suddenly before they fade out completely.
  13. I like the larger eyes of the new version.
  14. The pinch behind the nose seems odd
  15. Initial test of pond ripple strategy... bobber000.mov
  16. Let us know when you have more cool "run through A:M" to show!
  17. That's a very successful conversion. WebGL is what makes that site possible.
  18. Thanks for finding that!
  19. Thanks, Nancy! Here is something I got going in v8 with the materials in the PRJ Nancy provided. This is something like the "wave" effect i remember from long ago. rippleframes.mov To get that i had to render every 15th frame out of 2 minutes of Chor time and then speed them up to 30fps in Quitcktime. It should be faster than that so there's still something about the settings I need to understand better.
  20. Nancy can you post the original version of that PRJ, not resaved in v17?
  21. Thanks for finding that Nancy. I guess I'll have to find my v5 CD to test that PRJ, the current versions aren't doing it right. Those patterns should be moving outward and a new wave should be formed in the center to replace the one that just left and it all should be moving a whole lot faster.
  22. I just tried v9.5 That's like A:M after a transporter malfunction.
  23. there was a time when this material would produce smooth ripples (not bands) radiating from the center, with new ripples forming in the center as the old ones moved outward. I've tried it back to v10.5 and i can't get that effect which is THE effect it is intended for.
  24. I'm afraid neither of those is behaving properly. The ring pattern in those is scaling, which is incorrect. In true waves the distance between wave crests will not change as they move outward.
  25. Do you have a PRJ that makes ripples radiate out from the center in motion?
