  1. Hi Adam... My first guess is that the previous keyframe is set to "Hold" interpolation, which makes the channel hold the value of a keyframe until a new one is encountered. Select the previous keyframe> >Interpolation Method> to choose a different interpolation, like Spline
  2. Three cheers to A:M and the artists who use it! Hip, Hip, Hooray! (I hope we get to see some of that stuff someday.)
  3. Perilous and lovely!
  4. Recall that Avalanche was the A:M-using studio behind "Tak and the Power of Juju" and others before Disney bought them and it sounds like they were still using A:M in their pipeline for something up to the end. Update: Ken Baer tells me that Avalanche stopped using A:M after they were purchased by Disney.
  5. Hmmm... that's a somewhat different look than our typical torch fire. And very brief. Try the fire tut in TAoA:M none-the-less if you haven't worked with particles yet.
  6. I'd have to see the specific case to know more.
  7. I gave it a try but CP weighting isn't in effect when you move a bone in the model window.
  8. What you want to do is absolutely doable in A:M and we can walk you through the steps here if you want to go that way.
  9. I'm not familiar with the lace material. If that doesn't work, a transparency map could be made that has the fabric pattern on it and that could be tiled on the shape.
  10. Generally if you want an MDL that has all the alterations you made in an Action (or the Chor) you need to export a new MDL. Can you explain that more? I don't understand.
  11. Try the last CD version you have on your Mac. Or do you ever run Windows on your Mac? I think you'll have greater pride of ownership if you do the 3D yourself.
  12. Here's my guess... simpleFlyover.mov
  13. Hey Gerry, do you still have a version of A:M you can install? One of the CD versions perhaps?
  14. A constraint is a possibility also. If you wanted to send me the character in a PM i could look at it.
  15. Do you mean that other rings are not visible? First I'll note that it is typical in rigs for the forearm to be set to rotate on only one axis, because... elbows only rotate on one axis. One way to control this is in the bone's properties under Manipulator Options. "Manipulation" can be set to "Translate only" or "Rotate only" and "Limit Manipulators" lets you make the controller for each axis unavailable.
  16. Gene "Spleengene" Thompson had the best tip.... "the most important thing is to get started."
  17. That deal will get it just about back up to its IPO price and the power players who have held on all these years will finally get their money back, but without interest. Acknowledging that it's just children's entertainment.
  18. mmmmmmmmmmm.... looks good!
  19. Hi Jamie! Welcome to the forum! If you have Skype and want to call in to Live Answer Time to ask questions, definitely do that. Or you can always start a thread here to pose a question. Some smartypants will have an answer!
  20. So is that a slap or a palm?
  21. Just a little test I did to investigate the mechanics of slapping oneself... ShaggysFacepalm.mov
  22. We have that already don't we? And we have per-light shadow buffers with OpenEXR renders
  23. Eager to see it!
