  1. Hi Jost, The "Activity" tab in the forum will get you a list of most recent posts. Can you say more what you mean?
  2. I'm not clear on what the eyelids are now. Are they the edge of a half sphere? Is the final render flat-shaded or 3D shaded?
  3. Thanks for working on it, Jason!
  4. Seen while researching Fluting. This was probably a better idea on papyrus than in practice. Or maybe they're just screwing with you here...
  5. In general this problem appears to happen when a corner of the would-be 5-point patch has, not two splines going through it but, three or more splines that either pass through the CP or end there without continuing through. The result is that A:M seems to count more than one CP there, which causes you to have more than five selected even though it appears to be five.
  6. I'm sure there's a reason for that shadow but hard to tell just looking at it. When the character jump from on foot to the other they seem to have just barely pushed themselves off the floor rather than really jumped.
  7. Hi Svetlik, You can run A:M on any machine you have a license for. When a computer can't be attached to the internet, the activation process can be done by exchanging files by email. The machine wont need to be connected to the internet to actually run A:M Hash support is slow these days because Jason has been busy transferring the forums to new forum software. Do you need a new license right now or are you just inquiring just in case.?
  8. I'm surprised a version change loses so much. My signature has a link to a Youtube video. Previously it always displayed as just a link. Now it is displaying the actual video (this is not desired)
  9. Is this our fourth forum? What happened that made the past ones not usable anymore?
  10. There's a thread here somewhere on the work-around for running the CD versions if you are on Windows 7 Anyone know where it is? Forum search is not working.
  11. Does Search work? A simple search on "copy" turns up zero results.
  12. I suggest you get some sleep. If you don't get enough sleep, you start doing crazy stuff like selling flights to the Moon and making weird Tweets at the SEC.
  13. Try the compatibility stuff peirrotsc suggested and see if the installer will run.
  14. Hi Roger! The CD versions haven't run without work-rounds since Windows 7 nixed some security holes. I don't know if there is way to run a version that old without going back to Windows 2K or maybe XP. But when you were working on Tin Woodsman you must have had a later version than that?
  15. It sounds better if you call it "Bag o' Snakes."
  16. Seen on ebay. This is a used Wacom Cintiq from a studio being liquidated.
  17. Here's a semi-promising long hair test... HairMotionF120fpsFrontSide.mp4
  18. You may have noticed this already but for anyone else reading this I'll note that one limitation of "hair" is that the collision detection isn't really done by each hair, just by the "guide hairs" that exist at each patch corner. All the hairs on one patch are really a structure that is interpolated between whatever the four guide hairs at each corner are doing. So, it is possible for one guide hair to properly land in front of a shoulder and for a neighboring guide hair to properly land in back of a shoulder and yet still have the hairs between them penetrating the shoulder. That needs to be schemed around somehow. However, i do notice that some guide hairs collide properly and some do not. High speed motion is part of that, but not all of it.
  19. I haven't yet. I'll try to work up to that.
  20. Here is a comparison several different attempts... HairMotionComposite480B.mp4
  21. That size looks better. I had previously posted an MP4 and ti was bloated across the whole page but now it is right sized. My only "moderation options" to threads are "hide" or "delete". i can't move a topic AFAIK.
  22. I like that videos can play in a post but would it be possible to make videos automatically right-size rather than automatically full-page-size? Perhaps a max size could be applied to all unless clicked on? Or have them appear as a link that you click on to play?
  23. I like that videos can play in a post but would it be possible to make videos automatically right-size rather than automatically full-page-size? Or have them as a link that you click on to play?
  24. Here's a test on one section. The hair is stable yet flexible and the collision detection works well until the fast jolt at the very end. I will look at this further. HairMotionE30fps800.mp4
  25. I'm sure there's a solution. If want to send me the PRJ I'll try tinkering with it. Here's hair with styling HairMotionC000.mp4
