  2. Yep those r a few models I donated. Pretty cool u thought enough of them to ask who they belonged to. I have been dealing with medical issues but still work with a:m. Hopefully someone will be able to use them.

  5. Decided to change things up a bit. Rob I took your advice and it really helped. Still a very ruff sketch.
  6. Thanks guys. Arms coming shortly. Actually its a pet for another character. The body thus far is from thee rabbit model used in TAO. I think I am gonna make thee model in a more realistic form. The face is based on the rat that won the race in Don Bluths All Dogs Go To Heaven. I will test out your idea tonight Rob.

  11. I think it looks great The only crit is that i think you need more shadow on the chairs. They seem to be floating.

  14. I know this is an old post but another way to fix this is buy selecting all control points, copying them, open a new modeling window and pasting them there. You will lose whatever groups you had, and have to redo all the 5 point patches but the base model will still be intact.

  16. Thank you I just want to make sure i am seeing this right. Is the area where I have the red arrow pointing a 3 point patch with a hook? Are the 5 point patches I have outlined in blue connected directly to the outer nostril or are there patches where I have placed the yellow outline. If there arent patches behind the yellow line did u tweak ank bias handles? It seems like there would be creases the way you did this but the model is smooth. I like this patch setup cuz it will make modeling a character i am struggling with a lot easier to make. Again thanks.
  17. Nice model Can I see a few different views of the wireframe for the first face in this post? I am struggling with making faces right now (I dont know why) and maybe a new way of setting up the splines would help. Thanks

Good stuff! 1 way to make him look younger would be to smooth out the patches under and above the eyes, I notice when I am making a child, or young looking model I have to watch out for the rigid construction lines that tend to come with age. I keep everything soft and round with subtle creases (except around the cheeks). Young or older this is nice character design. Keep posting progress on this.
  19. Good stuff Cronos! Your splinemanship is great. I beginning to understand things a little better. Keep the patchwork light and let the texturing take care of the details.
