MOHAHA, nice one In some parts of the sync i think the mouth should have been more "O" shaped, but that might also probably not fit since his kind of "wide mouthed"?.. Anyway, nice work

I finally managed to rig the arm (after I got very much help in the rigging section). Here is a test done in a hurry. C&C are welcome armtestnysmall.mov

It look good, except that she probably should have bend her knees a bit more.

Hmmm. You are right.... I'll remove them. They was created when i was about to copy/flip/attache the pieces. Needed them there then, since the holes are beveled. Thanks

Thanks for the comments Everything is modeled. but the splinage is pretty simple and very UGLY. The method (on the arm that is) is that i outline the shape of the part, some beveling, then places the circle that is going to be the hole, then i patch it up as best i can, and copy/flip/attache Here is a shaded/wire of some of the parts used on the arm:

Thanks Ken Ehhh, about that. that brings me to the next point: How to rig this thing???? Need help on that, or some clues how to do it (see attached image that) The ROV is based on a real one (my brother is an ROV pilot, so I'm making this for him and the company he works at) The rigging question is moved: http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13860

Ahhh... nice one.. Fun to play with

Thanks for the comments btw Daniel Lewis, I have seen you use some kind of a flat metal on some of your models (like the details on the hat of your avatar), and I'm wondering if you could give me some tips how to achieve that

One word: AWESOME!

Very cool images I love the deep sea feeling I get. Do you use any other lights besides those on the vehicle?

Every time I watch your updates I smile... They are so "simple" yet so amusing... And I watch them several times in a row, and they gets better and better everytime . I did like the glow effect, you'll keeping that? Sorry that I don't have any constructive criticism, just want to let you know that your doing a great job

NICE! How do you decal a model like this?
-
to make the chor brighter you just adjust the intensity of the light solstråler (sunbeams), or you scale the the shortcut sol (sun) in the chor (not sure whats the best/correct way to do it). About porcelain I don't know, since I've never used porcelain (just tested it once on the mclaren)
-
Here is the the claylooking choreography as a project file. Using Yves skylightrig. Just import your model into the project and put it into the chor clay.prj

Thanks for the comments. actually the bevels isn't that easy to spot on the render. The rest is supposed to be "flat".

My current WIP is an ROV (remotely operated vehicle), that is a remotely operated mini submarine. Also this WIP is where I'm for the first time whole-hearted trying to bevel the corners of my model. In this stage of the project I've only made the steelframe and the top of the submarine (much more to come). Criticism and comments are highly appreciated Stian

First of all, thanks for the nice comments guys I used some rotoscopes (attached image) to manage to get the propositions right. And I used ca 20 photographies of the car in several different angles as reference. Ooooh Yeah

Hey Povilas I love your car. Its amazing how detailed it is. Looking forward to see the final textured version.

The camera: My idea is that the sensor takes picture when the eye gives a commando (twinkle or something). The pictures gets transferred to the q-terastorage through the wireless link (medialink) No beveled edges on this model

The phone: not that futuristic though (looks a bit like Qtec s100). Added a projecting keyboard. Volumetric on the projector is missing
