    ROV

to make the chor brighter you just adjust the intensity of the light solstråler (sunbeams), or you scale the the shortcut sol (sun) in the chor (not sure whats the best/correct way to do it). About porcelain I don't know, since I've never used porcelain (just tested it once on the mclaren)

    ROV

Here is the the claylooking choreography as a project file. Using Yves skylightrig. Just import your model into the project and put it into the chor clay.prj

Thanks for the comments. actually the bevels isn't that easy to spot on the render. The rest is supposed to be "flat".

    ROV

My current WIP is an ROV (remotely operated vehicle), that is a remotely operated mini submarine. Also this WIP is where I'm for the first time whole-hearted trying to bevel the corners of my model. In this stage of the project I've only made the steelframe and the top of the submarine (much more to come). Criticism and comments are highly appreciated Stian
  5. First of all, thanks for the nice comments guys I used some rotoscopes (attached image) to manage to get the propositions right. And I used ca 20 photographies of the car in several different angles as reference. Ooooh Yeah
  6. Hey Povilas I love your car. Its amazing how detailed it is. Looking forward to see the final textured version.
  7. The camera: My idea is that the sensor takes picture when the eye gives a commando (twinkle or something). The pictures gets transferred to the q-terastorage through the wireless link (medialink) No beveled edges on this model
  8. The phone: not that futuristic though (looks a bit like Qtec s100). Added a projecting keyboard. Volumetric on the projector is missing
  9. Someone i know had a schoolproject about future equipments, and he asked for help modelling them... What I had to work from: *He wanted a cellphone with a touchscreen and one button *eye camera attached is the sketch that he made The models that I made are very simple since I didn't want to use to much time on them
  10. Hey Jaqe, thanks. I did consider posting the phone and camera, but I didn't get so far (I did post a early preview of the phone on the radiosity section though). Give me a sec and I'll post them
  11. Thanks for the comments. btw the windshield viper is there now About the sheet I need to teach myself som bias handle, but right now I'm up to my ears with projects, so the car has a lower priority right now (but I'll fix it)
  12. Thanks pixelmech How about show us a wireframe render of your car gre03? By the way, your audi looks great
  13. This is truly a nice image. And I picked up a few tips from your explanation. Thanks
  14. Nice looking brain you got there How did you approach your splining? Like, when I starta model, I always have a hard time to figure out where to put the first spline
  15. Thanks for the replies, I will look into the new tips, THANKS. And Yves: Thanks for your great skylight rig ...but...meee...feeeel...stupid...again... what is sheet joints curvature????
  16. I think it was pretty darn cool I also liked the roto idea, and must say the same as markimarkc; very clever
  17. Thanks Kyle. I have been playing a bit more with depht of fields, and ended up with this render. I think the amount of bluryness is ok. Rendertime 5hr, 16 multipass. And once again thanks for all the comments, they are very encouraging
  18. You deserved your place in the image contest, congratulations You have made a awesome model. Will it be used in some short or did you make it just for fun?
