  1. Someone i know had a schoolproject about future equipments, and he asked for help modelling them... What I had to work from: *He wanted a cellphone with a touchscreen and one button *eye camera attached is the sketch that he made The models that I made are very simple since I didn't want to use to much time on them
  2. Hey Jaqe, thanks. I did consider posting the phone and camera, but I didn't get so far (I did post a early preview of the phone on the radiosity section though). Give me a sec and I'll post them
  3. Thanks for the comments. btw the windshield viper is there now About the sheet I need to teach myself som bias handle, but right now I'm up to my ears with projects, so the car has a lower priority right now (but I'll fix it)
  4. Thanks pixelmech How about show us a wireframe render of your car gre03? By the way, your audi looks great
  5. This is truly a nice image. And I picked up a few tips from your explanation. Thanks
  6. Nice looking brain you got there How did you approach your splining? Like, when I starta model, I always have a hard time to figure out where to put the first spline
  7. Thanks for the replies, I will look into the new tips, THANKS. And Yves: Thanks for your great skylight rig ...but...meee...feeeel...stupid...again... what is sheet joints curvature????
  8. I think it was pretty darn cool I also liked the roto idea, and must say the same as markimarkc; very clever
  9. Thanks Kyle. I have been playing a bit more with depht of fields, and ended up with this render. I think the amount of bluryness is ok. Rendertime 5hr, 16 multipass. And once again thanks for all the comments, they are very encouraging
  10. You deserved your place in the image contest, congratulations You have made a awesome model. Will it be used in some short or did you make it just for fun?

  18. Very much thank you Eos for your comment. Is it the clay and the wire render you refer to? I have been testing so much latly, so it has become a bit confusing... hehe. Anyway, here they are. Please do! It would be very cool to see how the master does it
  19. Thanks for the excellent tip Jaqe off and away to buy a car mag btw.. did this testrender, where I placed the car in the city I created for my short "the revenge of the gull" note: tested depth of fields for the first time *edit* updated the picture
  20. Thanks for your replies I'll try to lower the camera, what would be the best hight for it? something like 170cm (something like the hight where we have the eyes)? For the environment i'm wanting something like an salt lake or a desert. Or do you have any other suggestions?
  21. I have been playing more with Yves skylight and Colins carpaint, and I'm wondering if this new render is better (less or more toyish than the others).. Also if anyone have a idea for an environment to put it in, tell me Thanks for any comments (your probably tired with this car by now.......)
  22. Hello Jaqe How is your orc coming along? It has been a while since you updated your wip
  23. you are right Ken. My knowledge in making materials is very poor... If anyone have tried Colins paint and knows what settings to change pls let me know (or knows how to make one from scrap).. Actually red is not my favorite carpaint (metallic grey, or black, or dark brown with a tint of red is).. This is what im looking for (ref images): black grey metallic LOL... or something like this.. It has/had a nice color (Rowan Atkinsons crashed his £800.000 McLaren) How about this render?
