  1. This is an issue, but it is a necessary evil- I fear. We need to quality-check every upload to make sure it is not spam or non-A:M material. You need to have patience with A:M films... if you need to show the world something today there is always Vimeo or Youtube.

COOL! Great work... I'll FB link to it! Way to go, Gerry!
  3. Yes, I did... I don't have it 'public' on Youtube because... alas, I never finished it. (shame!)
  4. You have a point on the dancing. I did a sample for TrueBones using a BVH action they gave me... (WARNING:Adult Content)
  5. RU2D4... you live in Vegas, right? Aren't there companies there that make the video slot machines? Seems like that would be a great place to look for work... I cruise the casinos and look for slot machines that feature cool animations... and then I look over whoevers shoulder that is playing the game until security arrives!
  6. It looks like you need to play 'connect the dots' on the corners... and see where that gets you. I have that exact same 'Timex' digital alarm clock, I see under your table...funny! How is your leg doing?
  7. This is GREAT NEWS! Count me in.
  8. Thanks for all the compliments. I am finally done with this spot... 1 week after I thought I was. It was a week of 'micro-dinks', so the spot is not very different, but here's how it ended up. (I changed the link at the top too)
  9. SO---Jody, you are saying(to sum up) that a single frame rendered IN A:M took 4:18, but the same frame- rendered in a SEQUENCE in NetRender took an average of 1:16?
  10. I ENJOYED THAT! Love the 'felt puppet' look. Great lighting! Look forward to more!
  11. And after you do that, you might want to look in the model's relationships folder to see if the relationship needs to be deleted as well.
  12. Hey Rich- welcome back! I am using 17 as a beta-tester, putting it thru it's paces. It will be available in a few months for all... if you buy/subscribe 16 today - you will be eligible for 17 when it is released.
  13. and to further complicate... make a new action with model 1, drag model 2 into the action. This is a powerful feature of A:M. Keeps the models in their own windows for editing later, and is really great when adding a 3rd... 4th, 5th or even 100 more models. Then to activate in the chor... simply drag model 1 in, and drag the action onto it. Done!
  14. Hey! Made the Hash Facebook page! Thanks Jason!
  15. Do you use the library feature? Sounds like it might help. I am a bad example... I am a file slob. I have one main folder where I throw everything, models that have a lot of assets will get their own sub-folder. I need to learn to use the library feature.
  16. You need to activate the lens flare on the light up in the PWS/Objects instance... NOT in the choreography. Best way to go about is to right click in the chor and select New/Light... then find the instance of the new light up in the objects area and set your lens flare settings on it there, as well as brightness, color, volumetric etc. In my recent TV spot (shameless plug: http://youtu.be/f_uHIcW_n6k ) I used a volumetric light for the desk lamp at the end, which worked great... never even considered a lens-flare until the last minute when I was trying to add more drama to the 'drawing board' scene... so I added a quick lens-flare in after effects... another way to go about it.
  17. Here are some of the 'usual' spots I make for Belle... more After Effects with a splash of hash3D: The cool thing is they buy TONS of air-time... so these spots are ALL OVER Michigan TV all the time.
  18. I SHOULD MENTION... the people that populate this spot are all quick derivations of Thom. AND- I have made the 'old-timey' car available in the Contributors Cue if you should like to have it. http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=41245&hl=
  19. This was for my client, Belle Tire's 90th Year Anniversary. Made in A:M V17 with the toon shader, comped in AE.
  20. How do I link videos from Youtube dot com?
  21. That seems to be the 'snag' in A:M Films... needing to be approved.
  22. http://www.hash.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=41241 Link to the Lady Goodbody model in the Contributors Cue.
  23. Her beauty... amazing! Head to toes perfection! Another approach might be to take the Lady Goodbody model off the CD, beautifully splined... and copy/paste/borrow the face patches and rearrange them to fit Angelina's rotoscopes.
