    LOVE IT!
  3. Great stuff... where did you learn to draw pinups?
  4. January 28th. That's an easy day to remember. The NHL celebrates our birthdays by giving us NO games to watch for a couple of days. Happy Birthday, Mark!
  5. No. It's a sound idea. I hope it gathers momentum. It would be great if you gave us a glimpse into the 'crux' of the story... a little glimmer of the spark that will make Tar of Zandoria such a loveable character. I am interested.
  6. You.... you.... guys! (and Nancy) If I'd have known you were gonna be throwing me a party, I would have dressed more appropriately! Seriously tho- I just spent a week in the bowels of A:M doing a 'toon-render' TV commercial in V17- it turned-out great... love this software, love these PEOPLE! Alright, enough of this... everyone over to my place! PS--- LOVED my card, Rodney... is it a Hallmark?
  7. For the life of me I can't figure out why in the quick render (gif) of his glasses the background rendered yellow like it did...
  8. Whoooops! Thanks for that info, MT! I changed it. Credit where credit is due.
  9. I Haven't shown any of my work in a good while... I am working on a new character, an animated spokesman for an appliance store. Thanks to Jim Talbotski, I borrowed his Sir Nigel body as a start for the body. Animated with a BVH from Biovision... still have work to do before we pitch this. gordyABC.mov
  10. To the author of the 'Dress Me' plug-in: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  11. Rob- I don't know what's projecting more... the Bell and Howell or the.... RU2D4- You have a degree in Civil Engineering?... doesn't EVERY city on Earth need Civil Engineers? (I thought so.) Sounds like you need a change of scenery- get to a new town- bring the stripper!
  12. Don't find a label... make your own label!
  13. Hope you can take time to revisit us here on the forum... in-betwixt diapers! Congrattio-daddio!
  14. BIG FUN! Those are some healthy dames... great vehicles and set too. This is gonna be cool!
  15. Yeah... dig the car... WHEN do we get to see the girl?
  16. For some reason, after taking a good look at your polar bear- I was thirsty for a COKE! Great work... rig it with TSM2?
  17. OK... tried the Facebook logon. I got a funny misspelled error! Somebody's keyboard does not make 'S's...
  18. Sorry Gene- having trouble registering... I signed up...I got the confirmation email... clicked the link... it says I am registered... go to vote... it asks me to log in... I log in... it says I am not registered. I'll try later.
  19. Stunning, beautiful and photoreal.
  20. I am up and running at home and at work, yes. Renewing a sub is brain-dead easy- I just overthink it, and go left whenst should go right. Steffen(Yoda) is going to add a 2 week warning to your subscription, and next year I will search on the forum for the proper way to re-upp before I go a-delving in.... credit card in one hand, uninstaller in the other. Thanks.
  21. Tennessee, right? I could do that. Gotta watch the Ramen... killer salt content. Can we build a 'still' out back, or do you already have one? I just took a job, and am now enjoying 'second thoughts'... 2 hours per day on the road will be the death of me. Count me in.
  22. The trick I have found to assembling large scale models is to assemble all the pieces in an action. Build lots of little elements one by one in separate models, assemble in an action using say, the hero building or the ground plane/map... then- bring the hero model into the chor and drop that 1frame action on it, and set your lights, camera and action all there. I need to revisit my NYC model and do some more cool stuff with it.
  23. I like the gold reflected logo too, but don't know if it really needs the horizon line behind it. You could make a cove, or turn on and adjust fog with your camera color set to black to remove it- if you wanted to. I don't know how you are getting that double reflection....? The 3rd one in the green fog would be cool if you caught a highlught on the 2nd part of the word so it was readable.
  24. Well, I got my hands on Trapcode Form, and really want to try something with an obj sequence. Form will put a particle at every vertice- so I think 5 pointers won't matter. THANKS for the 'find' Robcat, I looked but did not see that- need to look again. This software has it all, ay?
  25. They demonstrate the OBJ import into AE at about 4:10 in that video. Yeah- some testing will be needed, and frame by frame is most likely the way. I was thinking I would deform my shape/object in an action, and walk thru frame by frame RMB/ExportOBJ... ?
