  1. Darktree has an ice material
  2. [attachmentid=20995] Applied eye material to light and add a few primitves in a timely manner while messing with the material settings and got this. When I went to save the project it said I was denied access and it appears that it did not save..weird eyelight.mov

My tinkering usually is the results of being some what brain dead after work ...Then when I finally get going I have only a short time so I try an idea that either presented itself here on the forum...like this abstract idea or something someone asked or ..maybe something I noticed on the commute to /fro work.   5. This is a similar idea I did awhile ago that should give you enough info to duplicate the new one http://johnl.inform.net/pages/9test19.htm It is really a two step process ..making the animation then viewing it through the right animated glass. Nancy ths should be easy for you

  13. Whats nice about AM is there is always something to learn and try. If you are have trouble modeling then work on materials or read up on expressions or rigging there are lots of tutorials and maybe you'll find one you can do well then pick another etc etc. It can be fun and fustrating but occasionally you'll surprise yourself and others.

  15. Well I tried a needle freehand ...the one on the left Then tried a couple with sweeper the other two not great but free to tweak [attachmentid=20473] project has both and the setup used for the far right one after tweaking the path [attachmentid=20472] aneedle.zip

  18. Thanks for the suggestions I will consider them all when I dress her up and add the hair and accessories for this scene. And the scene might need some more detail.
  19. I am trying to put together a simple animation. I posted this character a little while ago and asked about rigging it. Anyway I have it rigged enough to test a simple walk test. Have had little time on the computer lately to play and saw some talk on newton so tried a simple project from what I remembered about using it bowling ball amd glass container...use your imagination [attachmentid=19814] I put in a sprite emitter for some debris but at this resolution it hardly shows [attachmentid=19815] v13f newt.mov newt.zip

Did a simple sweeper test using a path, an outline to sweep and a model to duplicate [attachmentid=19655] swept the outline E shape then duplicated the screw 15 times and got this [attachmentid=19656] since all the screws were one sweeper object easy to color and the same for the outlined shape project v13e [attachmentid=19657] look at the placement of the swept objects...it does not matter where the path is but swept object will treat it as the base relating to 0,0,0 testsweep.zip
