  10. Okay But why Nancy played I got to visit the Hash Office and had a very pleasant tour with Martin Hash and Crew. So my reply may take awhile. Maybe I can have the ghost at Hash pay Nancy a visit. Oink Close as I could get to a full photograph [attachmentid=19027] Click while viewing for possible preview ..captured while Nancy was working [attachmentid=19028] squeal2.wav
  11. the library might have been refering to the library files on the cd and of course you can't save to a regular cd , Chances are there is a copy of your file if you have been saving it for weeks, As suggested do a search. If you are in windows see if the name apperas in recent documents and then right click\properties will tell you where it should be. good Luck
  12. Step 1 make an oval path (oval)-stretched circle-name it Step 2 make outline of link (circle) name it adjust sizes Step 3 Choose path and then right click-plugins-sweeper choose extrude the link outline ok we now have a link-default name sweptobject Step3a depending how you made path you might have to adjust the link model to get it to orient right on path when you duplicate...remember use front view for drawing outline or positioning dup model ..position to center is reflected in position from path Step 4 Make chain path straight line (my link was ~100 chain path ~900 I chose 12 duplicates) roll each step 90 make sure you picked sweptobject ok - now chain.. which can be resized and you can erase the parts used to make it [attachmentid=18607] forgot to save project..getting ready for vacation
  13. I could be missing the darktree material and some decals for the character (on extracd) skipping around but the rest should load...
  14. Swept a wall outline and mini tower around circular path [attachmentid=18579] [attachmentid=18580] [attachmentid=18581] Ran out of time to render did a still sweeptest.zip sweeptest.mov
  15. I think its a mac / pc thing they all opened for me...did you see any you liked? I can try to fix the links or redo them
  16. Glad it was enjoyable I just realized that I could have easily made a better frame but I was rushing ...the one on it is just really for the illusion..will make a better one after vacation. I have to get familiar with sweeper again since now its free with v13 and I only used it a little before
  17. great work on the run...love the sounds effect and the water
  18. I have a quick list of tuts that I have made but not indexed on my site. If anyone has the time to look please click on one of the letter links and watch the tut and let me know if you think its worth saving. Some are from much older versions of AM. I was thinking of cleaning up and updating my site so this will help Thanks for any comments http://johnl.inform.net/pages/aaa.htm
  19. Rodney I'm glad you liked it now I don't have to tweak it..... I really have to start rigging my other model might try the new rig after watching the tuts
  20. Sweeper and some "quick" modeling here is the "needing much tweaking" results..also model from extra cd [attachmentid=18437] in case some one wants to play with this [attachmentid=18436] track.zip rcoaster.mov
  21. Thanks you had my vote
  22. okay after adding some splines I decided to sewe how it might look with some color etc.. this is only a quick trial Still open to suggestions on model or rigging [attachmentid=18224] Now to rig so nothing to post for awhile test1.mov
  23. thanks for the suggestions so far I will be adding some more splines to the arms and legs ( which Jeff are connected by 5-pointerss..hard to see) I'll add maybe another spline to the stomach and probably more splines to the cloth portion. Then the dreaded rigging begins. No mischief though...very serious attempt Johnl3d
  24. Trying something I usually don't do and that is modeling. I am posting a wireframe and shaded wireframe to help with my questions. This model will be animated and I was wondering if the normal rigs will work when there are no hand or mainly feet. And any potential trouble with the model ..I noticed that the arms could use another ring or two of splines....There will be no mouth only implied by the bouncing of the nose. And I have to add a tail. The skirt will be cloth. [attachmentid=18162] [attachmentid=18163] Thanks Johnl3d
  25. okay..I guess that helped
