That does not sound good... did you try to remove it and put it freshly on? Which vendor do you have there? Is it Nvidia, AMD or just Intel? There are differen removing tools to fully get rid of AMD or Nvidia drivers and should be used in some situations. (especially if you replace a Nvidia or AMD card with a card from the oposite one, but sometimes it is a good idea anyway) It might be just a problem with your Direct3d/DirectX installation, but that is often resolved by such things too. You did install the additional libraries you do not have currently when installing A:M v19, right? Those are only optional in case you already have installed them but they are needed to run the program. Best regards *Fuchur*
  2. Hm, interesting... do you know any software that can handle it? Best regards *Fuchur*
  3. Interesting... did not know about that or that VR was a thing back then... this is a workflow using directX (a improved exporter by Steffen in the newest version currently in beta) and using ultimate unwrap 3d (best software there is to get from directX file to collada or fbx (and a couple of other formats). It is pretty straight forward but a little bit of figuring out the character setup in unity for VRChat was involved. I might do a tutorial on all of that, but it will take a little till I find the time to do that. Best regards *Fuchur*
  4. Hi guys, I am currently spending (too much) time in VRChat (a software that is more like a multiplayer-game but meant to be used as a socialising platform to talk with other people and do stuff in a virtual world together with or without a VR headset). VRChat gives the possibility to upload own characters and worlds to the experience and so I had a look how that is done and brought my Animation:Master Plomper-Character as a fully functional avatar to that world. I might do a full blown video tutorial on it in future, but for now I just wrote a new blog article on the process. If you are interested, you can find it here: PW3d: VRChat – What is VRChat and how did I import my plumper model as a character? Hope you find it interesting and fun :). Best regards *Fuchur* PS: If you are wondering: That is a mirror infront of me in one of the worlds in which I am using my Mixed Reality Headset:
  5. That is a little optimistic if you ask me, but the AMD line-up is absolutly impressive :). I have a 5700XT paired with a Ryzen 1700 (overclocked) at home and a 3700X at work (have built about 10 computers at work using 3600 or 3700x recently) and they really are just great. And just recently got a new HP Probook 445 G7 (with a Ryzen 5 4500u). I am pretty impressed with all of them ;). The new APUs seem to be close to the older desktop parts in performance but with a GPU... it is not the best GPU for gamers in there (would not consider buying it for that) but for people who just need a little bit of GPU in it without the need of gaming that should be nice enough and still faster then the iGPUs of intels. Best regards *Fuchur*
  6. Actually I am for instance most of the time online... but it was never crowded and since you have to be online the same time, it is often a little hard to find somebody there... (I am from Europe, which means we are in a pretty different time zone.)
  7. Amazing looking image :).
  8. I am very happy that you like it :). Best regards *Fuchur*
  9. Here you go – how to use sweeper in a nutshell (not my mother tongue, just in case somebody is wondering): how_to_use_sweeper.mp4
  10. Never forget about "Sweeeeeper" ;). Best regards *Fuchur*
  11. Hi Soot, nice to meet you :). Have fun and if you have any questions or something to share, let us know ;). Best regards *Fuchur*
  12. The second question is something VERY different and pretty complex to talk about. There are a lot of different techniques in there for instance many different kinds of constraints, expressions, poses, etc. I am pretty sure that can not easily be packed into one live session but needs to be covered in several. You might want to open another thread for that if you really want to go indepth on that one... Best regards *Fuchur*
  13. A hint in the right direction but I am sure Robert will talk about it in the Live-Session: Gradient-Material (Transparent to Color) with a animated transform setting of the gradient.
  14. Just have a look into my signature... the pipeline for Unity (using FBX) will for for UE as well as far as I know.
  15. Of cause... render to a tga or png or exr sequence. You might see blue or something in the background for preview reasons, but there should be an alpha channel in them which should help or if rendering to png just being transparent. Best regards *Fuchur*
  16. Looks pretty nice :). Well done setting it up. Best regards *Fuchur*
  17. I find the Unreal Engine pretty hard to understand, but I have used Unity3d in the past for a couple of projects. Not really for rendering but for smaller 3d game projects and Mixed Reality Tests. Best regards *Fuchur*
  18. You should with that kind of system ;). I think the king till now was 1:29 and you got it cut by 15s for single core again and I am pretty sure you would kill it for a multi-core benchmark like the following one with that machine. Looks like quite a beasty one – congratulations ;). AM Bench 2017: Benchmark: https://www.patchwork3d.de/am-bench-2017-201-en Best regards *Fuchur*
  19. In Germany in the state I am living in from monday on there will be a rule in place to wear a mask when going to the supermarket and driving with public transportation... so exactly the right time to have something like this in place. Currently I am printing more or less as often as I can a new one for people around me... my family and most of my co-works and friends already have one. I'll see what I can do about Thom on it ;). But this is FDM not DLP (my dlp printer can not print this because it is too big for that) so the possible detail levels are a little limited. Best regards *Fuchur*
  20. Thank you very much for the very kind words guys – it was fun and I hope it will help somebody :). I have printed several of them now (I think about 10 pieces) and am giving them to people around who can no longer get masks because they are sold out in many cases. Maybe someone on the forum with a 3d printer like to do something like that too. If so, have a look at the link and get the 3d data and feel free to print it or change it like you need to do. If you share it, it would be great if you could put a link to the original website or my article. I think they are a little bit more effective than a normal, self-made fabric mask (not better than the official operation masks of cause, but better then a self made one). Of cause I can not gurantee that and this is just a assumption from me without any hard evidence... I just think that because the coffee filter used is filtering smaller particles then a normal fabric would. The moment you can get a fabric for the printed mask dedicated to filter small particles I am pretty sure it is better. The best thing would be to wear both of cause. (this one to protect the fabric one and make it easier to clean, because the hard one is easier to rub with sope and reuse it faster) Best regards, hope you are all staying healthy and hope you and your family is going through this difficult times without a problem. *Fuchur*
  21. In general you should be able to do that still. 1.) Go to your System control panel (the old one is the easiest) 2.) Go to "Sound". 3.) Go to "Record". 4.) Have a look if you can see something like "Stereomix" which typically is deactivated by default. 5.) on it and click on Activate. 6.) Restart your recording software and you should be able to select it again, if you can do that in that software. (Audacity for instance is able to be used that way if you need something to test it with. Does that help already? Best regards *Fuchur*
  22. Hi everybody.. since we are in the situation we are in I wanted to share with you a project of mine which I created with my 3d printer and Animation:Master. It is about a breathing mask which is reusable and is easy to clean while being comfortable. If you want to read more about the whole story or want to print your own, have a look at my blog article about it: https://www.patchwork3d.de/blog-5-en/breathing-mask-from-the-3d-printer-1034 Best regards, stay healthy and hope you are fine *Fuchur*
  23. Happy Eastern to you all too :). Best regards *Fuchur*
  24. Can happen to the best of us – try a better one this time ;). Best regards *Fuchur*
  25. Just extremly well done! And as always not only the animation, lightening and so on is just extremly fun to watch but the whole pacing and style is amazing too. Thank you very much for sharing! Best regards *Fuchur* PS: And guys... #staytheFreakhome !
