Just great to watch Michael. I really like it. Best regards *Fuchur*

Check "Remove internal patches". You should get used to the way A:M extrudes and be aware of it, but sometimes if you miss it, it can be a good helper. => With nothing selected in the modeling window right-click and select "Remove internal patches". (see the attached video) After that the internal patches should be selected and you can drag them out or delete them. Best regards *Fuchur* feature_internal_patches.mp4

In AVI you can use uncompressed. Everything else is not really useable. But I would highly recommend to render to TGA sequences or OpenEXR (depending on what you need). After that I would use QT or if you are using something like Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere or another NLE that should be very nice too. Best regards *Fuchur*

Very well done Robert and great to see that :). Best regards *Fuchur*

The new code can be found in the store history in general if you did not receive an email. Did you have a look there? There is now a new page (a step-by-step guide with screenshots) on hash.com to show the process of finding the subscription code and renewing a subscription. You can find it here: https://www.hash.com/renew-subscription-44-en Best regards *Fuchur*

Hi John, go to your Animation:Master install folder and rename the "master0.lic" file in there to "master0_old.bak". (or anything else) You will be asked for a subscription key if you restart A:M after that which you have to put in there. After that you should be good to go. Please do never post the code on the forums - otherwise it can be stolen. Best regards *Fuchur*

Hello Everybody :). I would like to wish you all a merry christmas (or whatever you are celebrating these days ). Most in the US are going to celebrate christmas tomorrow, but here in Germany the 24th is most often even more important than the 25th. Best wishes, best luck, stay healthy and have great holidays with your close family everybody :).

We are very likely using different settings when rendering ;). I am rendering at 9 passes at 800 x 600. Best regards *Fuchur*

I can load it, but there are a couple of things missing. (sometimes you can not see anything and it looks like it froze, but press "Alt" or "Alt + Tab" to switch between programs and go back to A:M. Then you will see a popup. "Null pointer" or something like that. But it works after that. I am currently rendering the scene out. But currently it just takes around 9 seconds with particles on too... there have to be some things missing. Best regards *Fuchur*

Thank you :). Good to hear that you like it too David. Yes I like it very much too! Best regards *Fuchur*

The Bias to Grid-one is a pretty new feature from a feature request I did ;). It helps a lot if you are using it for mechanical modelling. It really should help making mechnical models. Just have a look at this: https://www.patchwork3d.de/snap-bias-to-grid-195-en Best regards *Fuchur*

...and you will be asked for a code when starting it after installing. That one should be in the mail or if it is not you will find it in the store at your order history. Best regards *Fuchur*

Hm, sounds like trouble... if you can get it to work let us know :). Best regards and good luck *Fuchur*

Hi Mad, if you are willing to share the project file I'd happily help rendering the frames ;). Best regards *Fuchur*

Hi everybody as in each year there is a new advent calendar for 2020 again which has been created with the help of Animation:Master again. Not everybody might know what a advent calendar is: The calendar runs from the 1st of December to the 24th and each day there is a small little door which can be opened to receive a little gift. Most of them are chocolate in general, but there are many more from toys (not only for children sometimes) to anythin else. As I am working in an advertising agency in this calendar we show you a new funny, thoughtful or just well done commercial each day. (no, those are not all from us or something... those are just great pieces of that profession) I hope you will have fun and don't forget to come back to it each day to see a new one :). https://advent.3we.de Best regards *Fuchur*

A lot of windows in that tiny house... you do not mind being observed too much, do you? Or aren't there any neighbours? Best regards *Fuchur*

Just in case because I had a problem with that before: Have a look at the units in the options. if they are for instance in meters or somethinge like that and you model is scaled very very big, it might result in problems. Switch the units to "cm" or something like that just in case if you have a larger unit in there. Best regards *Fuchur*

Hi Kaijubait, great that you sorted it out. A couple of those problems I am covering in my tutorial here: https://www.patchwork3d.de/basics-of-patch-modelling-80-en Just in case you are running into stuff like that again :). Best regards *Fuchur* PS: *psst* It is spline, not spleen ;).

Hi Phattso, about the CD problem, please check this: In the end, yes, it is exactly what your computer guru says. As I understand it, there is a workaround for it, but I am not sure if it still works. Q1: For v13 and up: In general they open very well. If they will do exactly the same I can not say... I never really compared side by side. Q2: You will very likely get some notification, that the project was created in a newer version if you move the file and of cause if you added newer features to the file they can not be interpreted in v13, but it works in many cases. I still do not recommend to do this, because it just creates uncertain behaviour. Q3: I did not try with 4K but with 1440p and that works fine so I do not see why it should not work for 4k. As long as your GPU is powerful enough you should be fine. Q4: Short answer... no, not really. It just would be too much and I am pretty sure nobody knows all the features ;). A good startingpoint is however the latest info section: https://forums.hash.com/forum/2-latest-info/ Best regards *Fuchur*

Just great... I had to laugh several times and the animation is very fun Well done! Can't wait to watch the next episode :). *Fuchur*

I do not have much time right now, but just as a headsup for the pre- and post-interpolation stuff: You can do it for one axis only and stuff like that but you do not have to. Just click on the "Bones" folder and then select everything by pressing "CTRL + A". Now right-click on the selection and choose the pre- or post-interpolation you want to have there. In general I do not use it very often... in general I just repeat the action itself not in the action itself, but yes you can of cause do it. Best regards *Fuchur*

Just great... everything about it... the dedication, the story of you and your girlfriend and the clip is fun too :). Well done my friend! Can't wait for the full episode. Best regards *Fuchur*
